Good morning to all the CM posters out there. We are getting ready to leave for my mother's funeral and made a last "cruise" through the board and was so very touched to find Tweety's post regarding my mom's passing. You cannot imagine how very special each and every one of you are to me. Whether I have had the pleasure of meeting you or not, my heart swells with pride to know that such a special and great group of folks are frequenting this board. One doesn't even have to post much to know and feel the love that is shared here. Rather than try and thank each individually I am sending this "group" message. I fear that I would omit someone by name and would not want to exclude anyone.
To each and every one of you I say a special thanks and a prayer that you are there and for your well wishes in this difficult time. I know my mother is better off and I have even prayed for months that she would be spared and "taken home" but for now it doesn't dull the pain. It does, however, make me realize "Don't cry for what you had but rather SMILE because you had it!"
Have a great day all. Some of you I will see soon and thank in person. The others I will think of often.
My deepest condolences to you, Linda. After my husband's emergency surgery Sat. night, I am getting a taste of what the loss of a dear one might feel like. We shouldn't take each other for granted, any of us. Saying I love you every day is an important thing.
I do hope to someday cruise with both you and your husband and I'm just so glad you will be able to make this next Hawaii cruise, most of the CM gang that is going have so been looking forward to this. My thoughts are with you, get through these difficult days ahead of you and then relax and enjoy your cruise, I'm sure your mom would want you to as well....
Linda: I'm so sorry for your loss. You are such a special person! Now it is time for you to take care of yourself!

Linda, my condolences go out to you and your family. I know how hard it can be when this happens. My mother joined my father in heaven a few years ago on Christmas day. Just know in your heart that it is better for her than suffering and all will be well.

Linda, Although we have never met, please know that my prayers will contain thoughts for your Mom, for you and for your family. Nothing makes a loss easy or easier. Time will give you the opportunity to let go a bit of the pain and replace it with thoughts of all that was good about your Mom.
May you be blessed with the strength that you need to deal with your loss.
So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It is so hard, no matter how prepared we think we are, but you said it yourself-she is in a much better place.
Mark and I send our love, our prayers are with you, and will see you soon to give you a hug.
