After you leave the ship (Confess, Sinners!) do you make a beeline for the fast food you haven't experienced for a week or more?
I am guilty as charged. After our last cruise (in my defense, it was 14 days, on Enchantment of the Seas) we met up with fellow cruiser friends who had sailed on the Norway at a Wendy's in Fort Lauderdale.
And HORRORS! We all commented on "how good it was"...... SACRILEGE!!!!!! It was kind of like the comfort of my own bed, although I'd rather be back on the ship in a heartbeat.
Has this sick, sick experience happened to you?

Re: Post-Cruise Guilty Confession
Yes it has. There are times when I get off the ship (especially on cruises longer than 7 days) that I cannot just wait to get my first taste of "fast food" or get home and make my own pizza!!! I will even confess to getting upset at an airport once because a restaurant (with the Arches) was in the process of changing over their menu from breakfast to lunch and I could not get my favorite breakfast sandwich! lol And in my defense it was about a half an hour before the lunch menu was supposed to start! So much for customer service.

First thing I want to do is pick-up a dvd stop by Albertson’s for some peanut-butter-cup Ice-cream (imho the best ice-cream on earth) only that particular flavor though. Sit down, unwind from the disembarkation, the drive home, stopping by the Dog sitter’s to drop off her treasure we bought for her, the PO box, going through the mail, and just having a reason to eat that ice-cream. Don’t roll your eyes… How do you think I maintain this 6’1” 270lb figure? Down from 302, I might add, and still losing.
