Default Help us pick our next cruise....

we are in the very very early planning stages of our next cruise, It will be a celebration of ours and our best friends 25th wedding anniversaries. No kids this time, adults only.
We are looking for something classy, elegant, yet still fun and not snooty. We love Princess but want to "step it up a notch" We are looking at a 10 day either Southern or Western Caribbean any suggestions???

Take a look at the 10 and 11 day itineraries for Summit (Celebrity).

Celebrity would be a good idea. Are you open to other area's than the Caribbean?

I agree with the Celebrity choice. I've never found it snooty, and have always been happy with the service.

We found Celebrity "snobby", night life was boring and the food was disappointing. I would suggest Oceania cruise line or Radisson.

You might want to check out Holland America, too.

I think Celebrity and H.A.L. are very comparable to Princess. Why not try Oceania. That would be my bet for a "step up."

tell me a bit about Oceania cruises. Our friends have only been on 1 cruise, and they want to explore more of the Caribbean. Our first thoughts were towards Celebrity and HAL. Keeping all options open.

Lisa,

This review from Anne Campbell should give you an overview of Oceania cruises.

Another Celebrity fan here - I think you can't go wrong with them. They are elegant, refined, classy, sophisticated, and we did not meet anyone we thought was the least bit snooty. I mean, there are 2500 people on the ship, they can't all be snobs!

Enjoy sorting through your options.

Cheers,
Michelle P.
