Good morning kids..
Off to work i go..I am holding down the fort there alone today..Giving me a nervous tummy... Not going to be a good day weather wise either...Oh well...You all havea great day ..

Good morning Trip and all the CM's to follow. It's just daylight here in SoCal, cool, sunny, and dry. The house is chilly and we used the down comforter last night.

We live in an unincorporated area surrounded on one side by a creek and an L.A. County game reserve, plus a wooded gully that cuts through the neighborhood. We get a lot of small critters, and on rare occasion, a mountain lion. The other day when I drove home from the market, I watced four fully grown skunks cross the street keeping in very close formation along a neighbor's driveway and bushes. Headed for the creek, I guess. Glad I was in my car. Yikes!! No crocs or 'gaters, though. Again, Yikes!!

Trip, now you've done it - I'm gonna have that darn song stuck in my head all day ! !
It's a grim looking weekend here in Montreal. The forecast is for cool temps and rain for the whole long weekend (Victoria Day holiday weekend). Not very promising, but then "they" have been known to be wrong!
Off to buy some plants and flowers this morning. Planting is the plan for later, if it's not pouring, and also to get the cover off my mom's pool and start the opening procedures. I do hope the rain holds off till we're done!

Good morning from Florida..90 today and they are saying 91 tomorrow Am I rubbing it in or what Donna? I made a few pictures this morning I will post them later. I have to go run to the church and help with the food pantry. Have not been there in ages.

Woke up at 343 am again..but went back to sleep. Shopped at a yard sale this morning and bought a TV for middle daughter. Hers broke and now she will be happy

Morning all from a place near the sand but with grass knee high.

Been out of town on business all week and got back in time to cook all night at the restaurant in place of a cook who called in sick. It was also nice of a couple of servers to not show up so Mrs. Thomas could make some tip money. One of the air conditioners stopped working so I had to hunt down that problem in the attic last night (water collection in the catch pan activated the float switch).

I'm off to pick up todays' catch and try to get some action on the A/C unit. Sure wish this yard was self-mowing.

Well, that is what I was thinking to myself as I tackled the pile of ironing this morning. :-)

Donna, I sure wish I could get going on the plants around here, but the weather isn't helping me get in the mood to go shopping for them.
Thomas, it's a good thing you are such a multi-talented man. Glad Mrs. Thomas got to earn some tip money too. Hope she put it towards a cruise.

Sue, the ninety degree weather can stay in Florida. :-) Maybe someday I'll get used to that heat and humidity, but I still prefer the cooler dryer temps.

J. , your neighborhood sounds like my kind of area. I love the streams and trees and the critters. Sometimes those critters can be a problem, but I enjoy watching them.
