First, you may to go tools, internet options, and click on the advanced tab. Scroll down and may sure there is a check in the "java logging enabled". Without that, you can't see any prices. -----
Now, on to Gas Price Watch!
This site is a volunteer participation site. You don't have to join, its not a membership. What they have done is located the gas stations in the US with the help of volunteer spotters (maybe just like you) and they rely on people just like yourself to help keep the prices updated in your neighborhood on the GasPriceWatch.com website.
Do you have to help spot prices and put them into the database? No.
Should you register and add prices? Yes.
The idea is that as more people become aware of the site, the more people that can help add prices. You are not alone. You can make a difference - but it takes YOU to make this work.
They don’t charge anything to use this site – or even require you to register if all you want to do is look for prices. They do ask you to register if you are putting prices into the database (they only require a valid email address and your zip code; you pick an alias, and a password). This way, if a mischievous person starts putting prices in, they can turn their account off and deny them access.
By helping to add prices to GasPriceWatch.com, you may be helping friends, neighbors, and even people you will never meet save a few dollars on something they have to purchase.
By ONLY purchasing gasoline from the low prices leader in your town (If you are brand loyal buyer, why not buy from the lowest priced station with your brand), you will reinforce the concept of KEEPING YOUR COMPANY’S GAS STATIONS PRICES LOW. We need to train the gasoline company’s pricing using OUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS AS THE TOOL!!!!!
That was the whole idea behind the web site.
DON'T Forget - instead of just looking in your zip code, you can do a radius search. On the front page, put your zip code in and set the radius to 1,2,5.10 or 20 miles. You may find that station with a low price this way.
