Default FINALLY reporting in from the Pacific Ocean

HI Kids...

Sorry I haven't been reporting in...but had a computer disaster. Mrs K spilled water on my laptop, and wiped out the keyboard.

Cher's husband Mark just heard and loaned me his... so here I am!

We're making our way to Vancouver. Had to divert yesterday to get closer to the US west coast because of a medical emergency for a crew member. Helicopter flew out 400 miles to land on the ship this morning to evacuate the crew member.

We've been going full speed (24.5 knots) for a day and a half to get to the meeting point.

Regardless of that the FUN has been terrific!! Great bunch of cruisemates on this group cruise!!!!

A couple of days back, on our first sea day, we had a Soak Em if U Got Em Event. "Someone brought 2 Super Soakers.... and before knowing what they'd be doing, couples had to choose who would be giver and who would be receiver.

The "receivers" had to wear antlers, and the givers had to knock them off using the spray from the Super Soakers. It was a round robin tournament ... so wives got to get even with husbands, and visa versa.

Cruisemates are GREAT (or dumb<G>). Where else could you get people to voluntarily sit on bar stools and get soaked.

Just a couple of innocent bystanders got wet in the process<G>

We had CM movie night as well. Ron, one of our cm gang, who's done 7 of our group cruises, compiled a video, which he set to music, from previous group cruise antics from past cruises. Did a great job!!!! And we laughed until we cried!

Half the ship wants to purchase Get Lei'd Again T shirts! Big Hit! I should have brought a hundred to sell. lol

Last night we had the Ugly Aloha Shirt Contest... and there were some truly UGLY shirts!!!

This afternoon are the Horse Races, and of course the CruiseMates Not So Stable has an entry. After the races we're having our mini golf tournament.

The Captain was kind enough to give our group a private tour of the bridge. He's really a wonderful guy, with a GREAT sense of humor. Lots of stories and pictures to come of all these "events".

Now that I have a working computer again, if I can find some time later, I'll post a few tidbit stories.

The BAD part is... ONLY one more day and we debark.

Glad to hear everyone is having a great time. The supersoaker game sounds like it was fun. So sorry you only have one day left. {{grin}} I would have loved to have been there to see some of the groups antics.

I want to be THERE...If I knew that helicoper was coming out he would not have had to run empty coming out..I hate that the crew member was sick though..sounds like you guys are just having way too much fun(if there is such a thing)
