Default Baked in Alaska

Hi all. We are home from Alaska. Got into Chicago last night around 9PM and drove 2 hours in a driving rain storm to get home. It's good to be back. We had a fantastic cruise. The inland tour was HOT and sunny. We experienced lots of clouds and cooler weather for the cruise portion of the trip. It was great to see the inland part of Alaska, and we even got to see some of the elusive wild life, including Kuki's cousins.

Embarkation and debarkation went very smoothly. Quite a few of the airlines let people, flying out on the last day, do all of their check in on the ship which must have made it real simple for them. No hauling of luggage.

I'm just trying to catch up with everything now. I'll post more info in the next few days. We really had a wonderful time.

Phyll

Vancouver is doing some great things in helping the cruise line passengers with check-in.

Hey Phy,
I just knew you'd love Alaska, quite different from a CAribbean cruise, definitely worth doing, sounds like you may even do another one. Glad to have you back, we missed you around here and in chat..
