Default I could kick myself...

I started a really good book the other day, and was really getting into it, even reading on the train to work (which usually makes me sick!). But when I went to read some more on the way home tonight - it wasn't in my bag! If memory serves (and it often doesn't!) I think I left in on the counter of the drugstore this morning when I pulled out my wallet to buy a chocolate bar! I was SO looking forward to reading it tonight, and now I have to hope they saved it for me at the drugstore tomorrow! Grrrrrrr.......

Careful....Store security might arrest you for shoplifting if you try to reclaim your property. (was it one of those quality drugstore books?)

"Just doing my job, lady... Jean Coutu has a condo in the Bahamas to keep up."

Edited to add> Perchance was the book "Gone With The Wind"?

Has a little case of CRS crept into your life. It's so frustrating to forget those little thing like that. Just wait when you hit the big 5-0 next year....what was I saying............<G>

FastEddie, absolutely a case of CRS!!
Cynic, no, it was not "Gone With the Wind", and no, it was not Jean Coutu either, but God knows, with the money I spend at Jean Coutu for prescriptions, train passes and photos, he could retire on the "World" cruise ship!!
Rebel, the book was "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown, author of "The DaVinci Code" which I'm looking forward to reading next.
I'll let you know if I find it today!
P.S. the day before, I left my clip-on sunglasses on the train! CRS strikes again!

Hi Donna:
I know what you mean! I finished The DaVinci Code in a day and a half. Angels and Demons was the same. Then I went on to Deception Point and although it was a little slower (some graphic details about shark attacks!), I've enjoyed all 3. Don't know whether I can sneak Digital Fortress in - or if I'm going to finally have to get off the couch and do the housework! Glad he's only written 4 so far.
Hope you get it back today!

I just loved all of Dan Brown's books and can't wait for him to write another one.
