Default Thanks Harry, nice article

The last port on our upcoming "Great Alaska and West Coast Adventure" (14 day Summit Cruise) is Catalina. Your article could not have been written at a better time.
Thanks.

PapaBill, *so* glad it came just in time, and Dale thanks for the compliment. :-)

I just wanted to point out that the photos were taken in *January* in Catalina -- look at the clear skies!

It gets a little chilly in the shade sometimes, so I judge before leaving the ship if I wanna throw a light coat in the backpack. Just another tip.

Harry

Thanks again Harry. We booked a tour for the first half of the day. (Never been there and want to see it all). Gram kind of wanted to take a tour that went around by boat to the rocky area where the seals congregate but the one available off the ship was cancelled. Do you think that might be something we can do on our own or is there possibly some reason they don't offer them at all at the end of September?

I enjoyed your article, too, Harry. Haven't been to Catalina in many years.

Papa, check out the two links to the tour companies at the bottom of the article ... I think one of them has something about seals.

Harry
