Welcome Aboard. You will find the most awesome bunch of cruise crazies in the world here.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
And I'm going with her! I welcomed Renee last night, but that was on a different thread!
Yes, it feels like home over here, especially first thing in the morning. I missed posting all during Charley. It's nice to come back to Family! Lynne
Thanks John, for the welcome on belhalf of all of us cruise crazies here at CM. I've been hanging around about a year and a half now, seems like longer, and have "met" some really wonderful people here. I've learned alot, not only about cruising, but about how to do things on the computer! Thanks CruiseMates!
Thanks John; As one of the newbies, I want to say that I'm enjoying the best cruzin' site I've ever come across. Even though the lovely Mrs. and & have been cruzing for 30 years, I'm finding information that I never knew at this site. It's great to have one place where I can find ship data, great prices, and opinions about all the ships and ports. I'm telling all of my cruise buddies about this site, and without exception they come back and express the same exuberance about the CruiseMates site as I have. THANKS again, and we look forward to meeting lots of the CM people aboard.

Donna is oh so right..If we don't have it,,we will get it...if we can't get it..then you don't need it..>BigSmile on my face< Hope you all enjoy your time spent here and hope we can help in anyway..just remember that we are ALL cruise crazy and some of us are just crazy......not me of course...Welcome on Board.
Welcome to Cruisemates all of you newbies. Seems like John was a newbie just a short while ago, and it didn't take him long to become like an old timer around here. It's great to have new people join us here. This place feel like home and it's because of the wonderful people who take part in it.
I am a newbie.....we are going on our 1st cruise on 9/25/04 on the Carnival Triumph....I need a little support here......but I think this might be the area I can find it in. Any ideas or websites I can keep checking.
I don't want to forget anything, if possible. I like to plan ahead...and not have to say "I TOLD YOU SO"!
I'm excited... if we like our first cruise...we plan to go to Hawaii next year to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We flew to Hawaii on our Honeymoon in 1975, and said we'd go back there on our 10th, well, we built a house instead (Hawaii would have been cheaper), then for our 25th, boys were still in college....so our goal now is to see if we like the cruise....then Hawaii next year.
I appreciate the welcome, Big John (et al); have been "on board" for about two weeks now. The wife and I are recent retirees and, fortunately are able to travel extensively. I thoroughly enjoy reading the posts and have gotten some great ideas and tips for future vacations. Again, thanks to all! Rick & Naomi.
Thank you all for the welcome!! "cruisers" are just "good folks!!" I notice once in a while someone gets disgruntled or ornery, but it seems that others try to steer this person back from the dark side and put as positive a spin on the issue as they can. I am happy I found this site and looking forward to learning much more from you all.
