hi sharon,
i just caught your post in good morning - am i reading it properly? Which mountain is about to blow? is it Rainier? We have seen nothing on this over here in the UK. i hope you will be ok and safe. let me know

sharon - i just checked the usgs site and see it mt st helens. woah, will you be ok, i hope so. I have visited Mt. St. Helens twice and seen the damage she can do. I hope they are advising you properly. I am thinking of you.

lexxity.........yes it is St. Helens.......she has been having numerous earthquakes for days now......so far so good.......if she blows they think it will go south........into Oregon...so we should be safe as we are just south of Seattle. But we will have to wait & see if they really know their stuff................we were safe the last time she blew so lets hope it stays the same.................thanks for thinking of us.......I'll keep ya posted.

Hope you are safe, hope everyone is safe for that matter. What a batch of nature we've been having lately - hurricanes, earthquakes, no an angry volcano. Makes me thankful I leave in peaceful New England.

You know what I love... the people who came from Texas and Montana to see Mt. St. Helens erupt. Is it just me... or if the professionals tell you that it's gonna erupt something soon, shouldn't you be leaving ? not going to watch ?? hehehe... maybe it's just because I lived through the 1980 eruption, and walking to high school in the dark because of the ash wasn't so great :)
