From a 'reader assistance' column in today's Orlando Sentinel:

"To Sandra in Orlando: I told Royal Caribbean how you gave your 12-year-old grandson a cruise as a reward for bringing up his grades but did not want to take him out on storm-tossed seas and asked to reschedule. R.C. was unmoved. It has two words for you: cruise insurance."

This seems to be the bribe of choice here in FL. We did that for ours to pass the FCAT
