No frost this morning, but the furnace kicked on. How depressing! Now that we got that out of our systems, we can start to enjoy autumn. That's right, football season is in full swing, post-season baseball has started, and the Yankees lost. All is right in the world. <G> (I'm a Mets fan)
I called the home center and they said my windows will be in Thursday. It's about time! Half of my home heating costs will be out the window (sorry for the pun) trying to get the rest of the windows installed. I'm just hoping for an Indian Summer.
Good morning from swfl....Phyll I am sorry I missed your call yesterday. I try to call you today after I am done with my run to the post office.We are still a bit under the weather here with this stomach virus. If this isn't away by the end of the week we have to head to the doctor.
My dh isn't too thrilled to think about another cruise. Last one wasn't great and now he thinks we should just find resorts. I am still trying to warm him up to the Jewel...Can't say I blame him...

We have rain in the area for the first time in almost a week, and had a brief shower around 6:30AM. This is the less than 20% variety-misses Tampa, hits us!
Our football team is so bad (Bucs) that the starting quarterback is going to be replaced by the 3rd string quarterback this week.Also, the "star" quarterback being replaced may be traded before the Oct. deadline. Now that's a bad team.
Better get going- still lots of debris around here to remind us of our hurricanes.I wish it would be picked up soon to return to some normalcy and fewer reminders.

good morning all, it is very cold here in southern nh. i am not ready for these temps! i need a few more beach days! guess i'll just have to wait till i'm in cozumel in november! not much scheduled today........some paperwork and grocery shopping.

It is another chilly morning here in northern VT. Hope it warms up today. At 2 I have to attend a graveside funeral service. My father's cousin passed away on Sunday. He is from Wolfeboro, NH, but all his familly is buried here. My dad has been gone for 20 years now. He never had any siblings, so this cousin was like the brother he never had. They used to have so much fun together. It is so sad to see the older generation pass. But I have wonderful memories of them both - what a nice legacy for them to leave. Will go to work for a couple of hours, then to the cemetery. As it will be just a small family affair we will all go to a local restaurant to catch up. I don't know why we always wait until there is a funeral or illness before we gather together. We've let our lives become to busy.
Morning all from Montreal where there is definately a chill in the air! Supposed to be in the upper teens (C) today, and at least the sun is shining. I have taken the day off work to take my mom for her appt. with the oncologist. Maybe I'll take her out for lunch too.

Good Morning cruisemates! Yesterday was such a beautiful day in Calgary, I couldn't believe it was Oct. Except for all the leaves on the golf course, it could have been July.
Back to work this morning, with lots of accounting work to get caught up on. Stuff that I keep putting off because it's just too much fun <VBG>
Man, I just can't adjust to being back. Maybe it's because my coworkers really screwed stuff up while I was gone. In any case, I am buried in work, and just trying to kepp my head above water here for a bit. I still haven't written my review or posted pictures, but I'll try and get to it over the weekend.
