Good MOrning Mates..been a while since I got to start the thread..It was a stormy day Monday here in wc Ark and in Central parts..Had two f-2 tornados touch down close to Little Rock..about 50 miles to our east..the storms started brewing here in our county and moved that way. It has really rained and all the creeks are bulging to the brim.
Hope you all have a great Tuesday and hope the weather is good where you are and Pleas stay safe.
Location: Wisconsin....about 100 miles south of the Frozen Tundra and 70 miles east of Camp Randall
Re: Good Tuesday Morning
Good morning BJ! I was watching the Weather Channel before I left for work yesterday afternoon and Arkansas and Kentucky and Tennessee seemed to be really getting hammered. Take care and keep an eye to the sky (and an ear to the scanner!)
Chilly and rainy here in SE Wisconsin - just on the very northern fringes of what is going on down to the south of us.
I think I tweaked my neck (turned it and felt a twinge) after getting home from work tonight - now I feel it stiffening up.....will do the heat and anti inflammatory and hopefully (well maybe not as I really could use a mental health day) make it to work later today.
Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning Cruise Mates!!! A very chilly 37 here this morning in NH's Lakes Region. The weatherbug is promising a 50% chance of rain. A good day to keep my group inside today. Have a great day all.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
Good morning from Ohio. It has been raining here almost all weekend. I went camping over the weekend and rain and COLD. Long johns and hats and gloves. To say the least we got wet. Had to bring the camper (pop up) home and put it back up. Oh well still a great weekend. Now I have to be back to work.! Blah! Have a great day everyone.
Good morning from soggy Southern California. We've gotten hammered as well, and I guess tonight, it'll be even worse with very heavy rains, much needed.
My mother is stil hospitalized. I spoke with her late yesterday afternoon. She had a temp of 102 which doctors have reduced. I don't know if that would cause stroke-like symptoms. My DH says it's an infection caused by the rancid food she was eating. Could be.
I also talked with the conservator. He and my brother's ex toured a nursing home Monday morning in Minneapolis. They were both very impressed with it. Mother will be moved in there when she is released from the hospital, so everything will turn out well.
Have an excellent Tuesday, CM's, and batten down the hatches in areas where you need to.
Good morning kids! Tuesday, already? Where did Monday go? It is a much warmer start to today than yesterday. Yesterday it was 32 degrees, today it is 50. Not much going on, which is a good thing. Still very busy at work, but I don't ever see that changing. I hope you all have a super day.

Not much going on today except trying to stay dry. Looks like everyone is getting rained on. I'm hoping my windows come in soon, but we are supposed to have rain most of the week, so I have no idea when I'll get them in.
I'm still fighting that cold, so I think I'll have a cup of hot tea and relax. Oops! I guess I've go to start working. Rats!
good morning good morning,
just spoke to a very good friend of ours who is getting wed next year, he is after my husband to take him away for a weekend of male bonding, aye right (!), more like drinking and running around the welsh countryside!! So pleased, the house to myself for an entire weekend, yeah(!) !!!!
cleaning to do and then it is my cousins 21st birthday tonight so we are out to that. Nice.

Morning ya'll. I need to be productive today - both at work and at home! Waiting for the coffee to work it's magic right now though, <yawn>. My son's Birthday is tomorrow, and we're planning dinner out somewhere, which is okay by me!
Central TX has been heating back up again. I'm so ready to turn that air conditioner off - for good, or at least for a few months.
Good Morning from Orlando, where another beautiful day is ahead. I actually considered taking a sick day (shhh....don't tell anyone) and just enjoying the outdoors today. But then that pesky little work ethic thing I have kicked in and I got out of bed and ready for work. I am now ready to go, but can't get myself motivated to get up and leave....Oh, well, so I don't get there early....I will get there sometime before 10ish...
Right now it seems overcast here in Avon Park Fl. There is no sun, but neither is rain predicted. It almost seems boring having nice dry days down here this week compared to all your rain and storms up north. However, the good part of that is that the folks who got a lot of water damage during our hurricanes are drying out and are able to work on their homes.
My new boss, Carol, got "down and dirty" yesterday as she helped me move crafts and stored boxes under tables to other locations in advance of our carpet being cleaned in the Activities Room yesterday. She and I are much alike in many respects. I just hope that not too many people go at her too soon, and until my retiring boss returns Monday to be a "consultant" for the rest of the year. The other thing that hit her first thing was that the State arrived for its annual inspection.Thank goodness she didn't have to be in the midst of that-and they were aware that it was her first day on the job.
The friends I cruised with and another group of friends with whom we've been corresponding, are now thinking of going on a 2006 cruise together. I don't think it will be to the Eastern Caribbean, as Carol will be going there in January, and the guy and his family will be going to the Southern Caribbean, also in January, and will be hitting one or two of the same ports. Carol and I and fellow cruisers were supposed to have gone Eastern in September but were diverted West. Let's see, in what direction shall we go?! Trevor and I went Eastern in 2001, so have been there, too.
Bye for now before this becomes a book. Have a great day,Everybody.Eddie, I saw your Bills win on Sunday-actually looked for you in the stands! . Our Bucs didn't do as well last night. No season for them again this year. Lynne
We have a drizzly morning going on here in WI too. We need the rain.
BJ, I was thinking of you yesterday when I heard that there were tornadoes in Arkansas. I'm glad you were safe.
Judy, I'm glad to hear that your family has found a nice nursing home for your mom. It sounds like she really needs that round the clock type of care now.
Not much happening here today. I saw the oncologist yesterday, and he has me scheduled for a MRI on Thursday, and then he wants me to see another doctor at the medical college. He gave me hope that we can get this thing treated, which was really good to hear. Looks like chemo treatments in the near future.
The sun is shining here in Vermont. It will be a beauty. Glad as I'm going to try to go to my sons cross country relay race today. Hoping husband gets out of work on time!!! He had wanted the rest of the week of, but his supervisor said no. Which makes no sense as all the guys have to get their vacation time in before the end of the year, all six of them have over two weeks left, and most of them will be taking off mega time during rifle season. We have outside stuff that needs to get done, so need the time now before it gets to cold. Oh, well.
Still tired from too much baseball. Hope the Sox can win it in 9 tonight.
Dr. appointment went ok yesterday. Almost out of my anemia. Yeah, first time in over 20 years. He decided that now we had taken care of one problem it was time to attack another. I will have to go back to my endrocrinologist. My doctor said that my goiter has gotten visibly larger (I can feel it inside pushing when I swallow). He thinks that I should either have it surgically removed, or killed by radiation. My endrocrinologist will decide for certain if this is the measure we need to take, but it probably is. I don't think I can see her until Dec - so at least it will be in 2005 before the treatment happens. Not sure which way to choose, but the thought of radiation scares me.
Off to work for a couple hours, then have to go and have my ultrasound. Hope they find the cause of the pain. Then hope to be off to the race. Home to do a little housework (if I can muster up the energy), then settle in to watch game 6.
Nancy - how did your appointment go?
Judy - glad to know that there is a nice place waiting for your mom
BigJohn - I too thought of you while watching the Weather Channel yesterday. Glad you were safe.
Phyll - hope the MRI give the doctors all the info they need to treat you, in the best method possible - so glad your back with us!!!
Gloomy rainy day in NYC today. Matches the mood of the Yankee fans. Choooooooooookkkkkkkkkkeeeee!!! It is so much fun to torment their fans. One of them got mad and said "Just wait and see what we do to your Curt Schilling tonight!!!" I replied that we kicked him out of Philly years ago.
Everyone have a great day, even you poor Yankee fans (and just remember Sox fans, the curse ain't over yet.)

Good afternoon (it just turned noon here). I was up and out very early this morning, despite the fact I'd taken the day off! Had to go in to work for class photos, then came home again! This afternoon I am taking my mom for a consultation with a specialist about the fluid on her lung that may or may not have to be drained. We will see.
This morning, my son also saw a Dr. about getting medication for A.D.D. and Depression, both of which were finally diagnosed by his psychologist yesterday. If anyone has any experience with this or advice, feel free to e-mail me, I don't know what to think at this point!
