Carnival Conquest Oct. 11 anyone?

My husband and I took our first cruise on the Carnival Conqest out of New Orleans and had a wonderful time - Oct. 11 - 17. Just wondering if any other first time cruisers took the ship and what you think about it?

We was aboard during that time, really disappointed we didn't go to Grand Cayman, but maybe next time. It wasn't my first cruise but my first with Carnival. i was really impressed, and I did find a few plusses and minuses compared to RCCL. That's to be expected though.
