While I had problems with my foot on this cruise, Bruce was also having trouble with his leg.... The two of us made quite a pair !!!!Just like most guys, he puts off going to the Dr. I called and got him an appointment for today...What he thought was a muscle pull, might actually be a blood clot in his leg..so off he goes tomorrow for an MRI...if it is he will have to go on coumadin, as I was 2 yrs ago.. This could have potentially been problamatic on the flight for him...oy! So tomorrow we will have an answer ..I hope

Sorry to hear this, I wish you and he the best. I am happy you were able to cruise and that it was not a serious problem during the cruise. Please keep us updated.

Judy, for years when i fly my foot swells to the size of Rhode Island. Oddly, it does not happen till a couple of days later..I have tried everything under the sun, to find out why, and to prevent it..This time I took water pills starting a week before I left..sometimes it's worse then others, this time it was an ouchy!

Glad to hear he has seen one and that he can be treated. Thanks goodness he had no trouble with a blood clot while on the cruise!

Sure hope Bruce gets a clean bill of health!!!!! But, if it is a blood clot the coumadin will work it's magic.

Trip - I wonder if your problem is vascular in nature........only happens when pressure increases, etc in certain situations. Have you had that aspect checked out?

Trip sorry to hear about Bruces problem. To solve your dilemma with the flying you have to move to Florida! This way you can drive to the ports

Thanks for all the good thoughts kids, I will let you know whats what>Lisa, that's what I thought from the very begining and had an ultra sound years ago, everything was normal..I got vascular hose once, it took me a half an hour to get them on....when I took them of I thought I would be like a balloon losing air, and fly around the room. but that didn't work eirther And so next time, maybe there will be a miracle

As my Mum said:"Never grow old." But then.. what is the alternative?.. Guess we have to put up with all these problems as we age.
