The American people have spoken and now that the election has been decieded I hope that everyone will come together and work together to improve our nation and the world and drop petty differances. In another 4 years we will again get to choose who the majority of us wish to lead our natiuon and again hope that everyone comes together after that. I am glad to see that Kerry is a better man than Gore was/is and is more concerned with the nation than himself.
Jim with all due respect but why did you delete my comment about the voters have decided that a marriage is between a man and a woman? Why is this such a bad comment? 11 states have spoken which is a a fact and I did not use bad language either!

Sue.. it wasn't Jim who edited your comments it was me. You did not simply report on the results.
Your comments about the results were combined with your political views, basically saying anyone who didn't agree with your position were brainless!
Those types of comments just beg for an inflammatory response from anyone who disagrees with you.
There are MANY political and religious forums where you're welcome to express those views. This is not one of them!!!
BTW... I watched the election results most of the night, even though I am not American. And I congratulate America on electing a President in a fair and democratic manor with massive participation from the population.
Sue, Kuki is correct it was him but understand that had I or any of the other staff seen it it would have most certainly been deleted. Your commentary on those that voted against it was very inflammatory and it would not matter a wit if you had supported the other side and posted inflammatory remarks the other way. The elections are over and win, lose, or draw the people have spoken and we should all now work together for our nation. The founding fathers knew we would not and could not all agree but based on our system we have agreed to accept the results and should now work together and respect the choice the people made. And now we can get back to CRUISING! <G>
Those expletives are not because of the results. It's because due to circumstances beyond my control I wasn't able to "enjoy" most of the fun last night and this morning. I was able to see Senator Kerry's speech and he was very gracious and demonstrated that he was a worthy contender. I was also impressed with President Bush's ability to reach out to the country. I agree with both men that we need to come together to face the future.
I do have a bit of an issue with some of the media who do seem to whine a bit when their "exit polling" doesn't go the way they think it should and they don't get a final result by midnight. With an election this close there should not be a final result by midnight. I have no problem with the ending of this election.

I for one, am thrilled that I will no longer be seeing "bashing" ads on TV. Irregardless of who you support, I am constantly amazed at the negative ads that the American people are bombarded with. Is it that they really work? I find that so hard to believe! Thank goodness it's over & we can go on!
