Re: Thursday Morning Hello
Good morning everyone from SE Wisconsin where it changed from Indian Summer to winter in one moment this evening. Raining here now and on the way home from work I swear I saw a few snowflakes mixed in with the rain! Arrrggghhhh!!!!!!!
One more night of work and I am off for three nights this weekend! The scheduler was really nice to me this month! lol Still have to recover from the Chicks cruise.....CruiseAholic showing up and the travel problems on the way down to the cruise really robbed me of some much needed sleep and I am still trying to make up for it.
Booked the air for my next cruise in April - got a non stop from Milwaukee to LAX for quite a bit less than $300 going in a day early - now have to find a hotel. Will need to ask some questions about the easiest way to get from the hotel to the port in San Pedro....taxi, Super Shuttle, Princess transfer (do I have to go back to the airport to catch it and exactly where do I meet it?), etc.
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning, kids. Trip, I'm sorry to hear about your toothache......not much worse than that! Luckily, I can say, I've only had to endure one toothache...and an emergency root canal took care of that in quick order. Thursday, already? I'm telling you...I do not know where the time goes. I do know that winter is knocking at the door and I am not ready!
I hope you all have a lovely day.

Good Morning All
Chilly & rain predicted for today in Ga. We've got an interview w/ a builder this afternoon. Its very hard to find a builder here that will do a custom house (the building business is booming here) & even harder to find one that will build from your own design not a "bought plan" & one that can build a basement ( we don't have a lot of those here).
Trip: the 2 worst pains earache & tooth ache hope you get it fixed.
Ya'll have a great day. The weekend is on the way.
Good Morning, All,
Today's weather is a repeat of yesterday's-sunny, some breeze, less than 20 % chance of rain, but that % usually lands on us here in Avon Park FL before it reaches Tampa and the Gulf Coast!
My parents and brother arrived in Englewood yesterday afternoon. This will probably be Mom's last trip down here--many "sticky wickets" enroute, to the point of almost taking her to a hospital in Brunswick,GA. However, she is the glue in the family and had them press ahead despite her troubles. Trevor and I are going over there tomorrow on a pre-planned visit to see Peter before he goes back to Buffalo Bills territory. It's even more urgent that I see her at this point. She's not on her death bed, but some arrangements might have to be made for care, etc.
There's not much else going on. Tomorrow off gives me a three day break which will be nice. Things are starting to hustle at work. There's an Auxiliary Bazaar tomorrow and Saturday in our Activities Center, and next week, the Christmas decorations start coming out. Busy, busy, busy, up to New Year's Eve, after that.
Bye for now. Keep dry and Happy Veterans' Day!!! Lynne
Good Morning from foggy Baton Rouge -
Single digits left - can't wait so excited, get to spend 7 days with my daughter and

I wrote my post but neglected to "post" before going back so don't have time to write it over. I'll have more to time tomorrow AM. Have a great Veteran's Day,Everybody. My parents and brother made it down here, with some difficulty. We'll see them all tomorrow so I'll report on Mom's condition after that-it's not the greatest at the moment.
Stay dry and warm. Lynne
Good morning from swfl....my body is hurting from all the painting I have done yesterday. It is starting to look nice and today I am hoping to finish up. Litte baby Aiden is going to get shots this morning so I have to bring them to the doctors office. Kids are at home today since we have a holiday. Taking middle daughter to get a haircut and I thought I might take youngest to see the polar Express movie if I find the time. I know saturday will be busy as I have to go help out at the food pantry at church.
Trip sorry to hear you have a toothache. Hope it will get better soon! Big John sounds like the cruise is almost here! Just remember to make lots of pictures!
Lisa did you make any pictures? How come you had such flight problems? Okay, I have to get my aching body into the bathroom to get dressed. Have a great day!
Lynn, maybe I bump into you???/ If you guys go out for lunch/dinner the Lock&Key restaurant right across the beach is a nice place to eat and not expensive!
June 1st 2015--- Denali Explorer Cruise on Star Princess!
Good Morning All,
It is a grey and breezy day here. Husband is hoping to get the siding finished. Son was supposed to help, but he's off to the Cross Country Skiing Course to cut trails. I'm off to work, but I should be home about noon, then I'll have tomorrow to work at home. Husband and son have tomorrow off too, but son will be heading to Manchester, CT to cheer on the two teammates that made it to New Englands Cross Country Running Race. The whole boys varsity team is going - the school is paying for it as if my son and the (teammate that tripped over him) hadn't had that push and been injured they would have been running as a team. Oh, well. They are glad to get the chance to go.
My carpal tunnel is really aggrevated in my lift wrist. Nothing exciting here, after work, house work, and bathing the dog.
Trip - hope you feel better.
Lynne - hope you have a nice visit with your family, and that things work out well with your mom
Sue - you are always busy
Congrats to all of you have Cruises on the near horizon - I'm trying really hard to keep the green eyed monster at bay.
Jim & Leslie - good luck with the contractor
Happy Day to you all

Morning, from a gray, cold, miserable Montreal. Matches my mood. Yesterday was another long, frustrating day in the ER, much of the same for today. I'll post details later when I have more time, gotta go!
I managed to read some of the posts yesterday, but wasn't feeling up to posting. I'm feeling stronger today, and thought I'd get a post in while things are good. It sure is good to start feeling more human again. (course a little oxy-codene may be helping. ) My daughter, Kelly, is going to take me to the beauty parlor this evening to pick up my wig. I want her to look at one that might be kind of fun. The one we are picking up is my normal conservative style.
Donna, my heart goes out to you and your mom. My mom's Alzheimers spared her the real trauma of knowing she had lung cancer and all that went with it. I wish I could take away what your mom and you and your family are going through right now. My prayers are with you.
Trip, hope you get to the dentist today and get some relief from that toothache. Take good care of yourself!
Have a good Thursday all, and prayers going out to those in need.
Good morning from the land where winter is right around the corner. It really looks like a late fall day. Like Lisa, the temperature yesterday went from the 50's to the low 20's. Last night it was so cold that when Betty got home she told me that she had frost on her pumpkins.
Trip: Toothaches are not fun. Make a dentist appointment and get it taken care of. Aren't I good dictator? <VBG>
Lisa: I hope you use the three days off to help with the recovery. I don't think three days will be enough.
Sue: Give Aiden a special treat after his shots. It's a 30 second owie but worth it in the long run. It will probably hurt you a lot more than him.
To everyone who is a DDM in their countdown clock: I have decided I am going to alter the countdown clock. All countdown clocks will only show remaining days GREATER than the number I have on mine. It's killing me to see all you lucky people who have such a short time before you are walking on board. <VBG>
On the completely serious side:
Donna: I'm still pulling for you and your Mom. I'm hoping that today things make a change for the better.
To everyone: Have a great Thursday and REMEMBER THOSE VETERANS!

Happy Thursday all. You know winter is here when you open the door to let the dog out & YELL HOLY CRAP....I don't care what the calendar says!
To everyone having medical issues/family, my thoughts are with you for a speedy & positive outcome.
To everyone on cruises or about to be...you lucky things! Bon Voyage & happy sailing,
Good Morning cruisemates! Warm winds supposed to blow in Calgary today, so temps could reach the 50s F.
Saw in our newspaper today that USA Today has done a big write up on Calgary. So, those of you that get USA Today can learn something about the place where wild moose pay property taxes.
Off to work shortly, for what should be a quiet, and peaceful day. We normally get quite a few veterans in the bar after remembrance services.... and I like to thank them all for their service in person.
Good morning from central Mass. Its looking like a good day today, the sun is trying to break thru the clouds and its actually warm in the 50's. The kids are starting to line up for the parade outside my office. My office is across the street from the local AmVets club. Its cubscouts, boyscouts, the high school band, color guard etc, etc. I may just have to stop working and watch for a bit.
Trip - hope your owie gets better.
Donna - is Mom still in isolation? Isolation is so difficult, went thru what you are experiencing with my sister-in-law when she was fighting her cancer. Stay strong!
A late good morning from Southern California where our rain chances fizzled again. Temps will stay in the low 60's and we'll continue to dry out.
Trip, I hope you see a dentist to day and also take some asprin.
RD, I'm so sorry that your mother has to go through all of this.
Keith saw the neurologist the other day. The doctor didn't have much interest in him, which is a very good thing. When Keith complained that his writing skills still weren't too good, the neorologist said, "Tell 'em you're a doctor. It works for me."
Congratulations to all cruise bookers and to all those who are SDM.
Good morning from another foggy-hopefully it will turn sunny again like yesterday!-Vancouver.
I feel guilty as we will not make it to the local Cenotaph for ceremonies this morning. We will watch it on TV. (I know!- how lazy is that?....)
We will hopefully do some housecleaning done and get things ready for the Nutcracker performance season for the girls.
Hope your tooth gets fixed tomorrow Trip.(I have never had a real toothache;I am a bit dental phobic! )
Everyone-hope your day goes well. Take care. Bye for now. Brenda in Canada
