Default Ya We're in Jamaica MON

Greetings from Jamaica.

Just got back from Margaritaville. About a 5 minute walk from the ship. A 20 minute return trip, because it takes longer to stagger, than walk a straight line.

GREAT spot...pool with a water slide, and a swim up bar, and beach access.

I went there with some cruisemates, while Mrs Kuki and some other cruisemates did the zipline tour, and others went to Dunn's River Falls.

It's been a great cruise, with GREAT friends!!

However..The ship does seem just slightly disorganized in many ways. Just little things, but with a bit more attention to details, and more training, or trained staff, it could be an excellent cruise.

Hey Moose Man,
Hope you toasted us land-lubbers left at home :-) How as the weather been, hope nice and warm while we sit here and look at snow, yep, we got a few inches the other day, seems to be melting.

Hope you had plenty of turkey!

Thanks for checking in, "HI" to Tweets and Geela!

Disorganized or not, I surely do wish I were on that ship. Sounds like all the CruiseMates are having a ball.

Oh man, Margaritaville!! How I wish I could visit there one day! I'm a big Buffett fan and that is my goal for the next cruise, to go somewhere where I can visit Margaritaville!

Hi Kuki and Everybody,
We were in Margaritaville in Sept. It's not the typical layout of the other Jimmy Buffet restaurants. This is open aired, entertainment goes on through the afternoon-some pretty interesting <G>. Some of my group had that stagger thing going too-getting back to the ship. It's a neat place to see, and is in a complex with many other shops.Pretty clean-although there were some vendors who I could have lived without along the walkways,The stuff they had to sell was similar to what we purchased on a previous cruise, so I wasn't tempted.
It also appears that the weather is pretty nice as well, which makes your island hopping all that more enjoyable.
Thank you for posting. It makes our days less dull following you around from one destination to the next. We'll put on some calypso music, have ourselves a "drink of the day" and we'll be all set. Lynne
