Many of us here need prayers. I am loosing track of who needs what and would like to start a prayer list. Just write in the need and perhaps the name of the person<or in Kramer's case breed > I knowPhyll said she has a small paper list next to her computer. But maybe this way I can print out the list and know what I have to pray about.

That's a great idea, Sue. Sometimes I miss the prayer posts. Having them in one place (and maybe making a new one every day right along with the good morning thread) would help.
I don't like to publicize problems but I would like to request prayers for my oldest sister. She has completed all of her treatment options and her time is approaching all too rapidly. Three weeks ago, she was in such discomfort when I drove her to the doctor, that the slightest uneven-ness in the pavement caused her excruciating pain. It was so bad that she finally allowed the doctor to prescribe a tightly controlled pain reliever, and she agreed to take it. She has always been tough as nails, but such was her pain.
The good news is that the pain reliever has helped her so much, that she and my second oldest sister will be flying off for 10 days in Australia this week. One of her life ambitions has been to visit each continent. Australia will be number 5. I pray she might yet visit at least S. America, but Antarctica is probably impossible for her now.
I may dwell on the land, but I live at sea!
Steve
Sensation 2/03 I disembarked, but never really left the ship.
Enchantment 9/03 Just had to go back.
Inspiration 3/04 Just have to go back again, and again, and again...
Sensation 04/05 The vessel made me do it!
Good idea - it's so tough to see our loved ones suffer and be in pain. We all know that cruisemates are the best prayer donors around! Would be nice to have everyone well, happy, loved and warm this season.
I have stomach problems occassionally, & it has hit me pretty bad right now. Probably from stress this time of year. Prescriptions just aren't fixing it. I, too, will pray for the many other needs mentioned here.
Steve, Glad to see you are still around, but truly sorry to hear of your Sister's health problems. Sending prayers for her and hoping she gets to visit the places she wants. God bless.
I know I don't post much but I read all the time and now I could use some of your prayers too. My husband has been in our shock trauma hospital here in Baltimore since Thanksgiving. He has a compound fracture where his tibia and ankle bone came through his skin. The wound became infected and now it is so large that they have to do plastic surgery tomorrow. This is an 8-14 hr surgery. Please keep him in your prayers that everything will turn out ok. This is his 5th surgery.
Thanks to all of you
Thanks everyone. After an 11 hour surgery the doctors say everything went well. Chuck will have to be kept in the recovery room for 24 hours to be monitored. Hopefully this will be it.
You guys are great!!!
