Last night was a wonderful high - my aunt arriving from California to cheer up my mom, and relieve some of the burden from me.
Today was another story. I got an early phone call from my son's teacher who was very concerned about his mental state. Suffice it to say, I spent the entire day at another hospital having him and his meds re-evaluated for severe depression. If that wasn't enough to shake me up, we stopped in to visit my mom before we left, and she is now the latest victim of the horrible gastroenteritis bug that is epidemic in the ER. Thank goodness my aunt was able to stay with her today. Things just seem to go from bad to worse.....(thanks for listening)
RD: Hang in there. I'm so sorry things are so hard right now. Take care of yourself.

Donna, I'm so sorry to hear about the day you've had. I've been wondering about your son and praying that he was doing ok. I hope the doctors were able to get him the medicines that will help. I'm sorry to hear about your mom too. I'm glad her sister is there to help you out and be there for her too.
Hang in there. (((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))
So sorry things are going so badly for you. I wish I could wave a wand and fix it all. I can't so I will send prayers and good thoughts.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
I am so sorry about this latest setback with your son and mother. Keep "talking" to us, we are here for you through the "good" and the "bad". Some day you will look back on all of this and wonder how you ever survived, but you will.
We are all praying that you have the strength to get through all of your troubles. Remember to try to get your rest so that you can get over this latest hurdle. Maybe a glass of wine, a warm fire and the Bee Gees playing on the stereo.
I know you are a pillar of the family, as you are a pillar of our CM community. It shows in everything you touch. Your actions will be rewarded with Blessings that will anoint you with strength and the wisdom to persevere. Prayers headed your way.
