Thank you Y2C for your support for Celebrity doing the South Pacific and New Zealand. <G> I like the look of their ships and their "style" of cruising and would jump at the chance to use their services.
All we get down here are basically the dregs of cruising i.e.: the P&O "Pacific Sun" (The old "Carnival Jubilee" I think) and the "Pacific Sky" (previous name unknown and broken down a few times so far), with the occasional splash (pardon the pun) of beautiful ship's like the "Sapphire".
What sort of "survey" do you get?
My father used to do communications surveys of ships in NZ port's.
Not sure how we got on Celebrity's survey list. The surveys are about what we would consider on changes of the ships and amenities. Any thing from decor, nightlife activities, enhancements to make a cruise more delightful, would we pay extra for items on board. The survey we get are every 2 weeks.
Not always but some time there is a comment section that I write about NZ and South Pacific. So far have never got a reply back.

Thanks to "Jim and Louise" I now have an answer to this question.
"This is the story as the captain told us....The night
before we were supposed to reach Wellington the seas
were quite rough, so we were behind schedule anyway.
By the morning, the 8am arrival had been put back to
midday. Also a combination of a very small clearnance
into Wellington Harbour and large swells meant that he
wasn't confident that the ship could make it into the
harbour when we did eventually get there.
He also said that the local pilot wasn't going to come
out because of the weather as well."
