After doing 10 Carnival cruises and 2 Disney cruises decided to try VOS last week. Went with my 2 teens. My daughter is usually shy until she gets to know someone and the first day on the ship, one of the crew members selling wine started talking to my DD. I heard her tell him that she is 17, a senior in HS and I walked into a nearby shop glad she was talking to someone. I returned minutes later and I took a picture of them. She told me that he said he was getting off soon and they could meet and be "friends" and that he would buy her whatever she wanted to drink even after she said NO and reminded him she was only 17. He said it didn't matter because he could get her whatever she wants. She quickly left and told me she was too scared to leave the cabin since he creeped her out. I was appalled that this behavior would happen on such a big ship with such a great reputation. I was also frightened that he would find us so I waited until the last night to report him to guest relations. I am writing this because I am hoping to warn parents to be careful. My daughter said NO but others might say Yes and accidentally get into trouble.
Dont hold it against the cruise line for a bad employee. That is very bad behavior on the crew persons part. Good for your daughter for saying NO. Hope you will try them again, we are sailing on EOS in less than 30 days!!
