Last cruised 3/04. I live in just north of Chicago and we got socked yesterday with more due this am. Have about 12 inches on the ground. The list of school closings is as long as my arm (DDs are having a day off as both teach). I don't even plan to try to get intop work before about 10 this morning and I usually start between 6-7 am. Want to give the local services ( around here the town, county and state are responsible for different roads or parts of roads) a chance to get the roads plowed.
I know how you feel...It's been longer than that for me. I'm sick of these sunny 80 degree days! Uh... hmmm... I mean I'm sick of looking at all these blue tarp roof houses, vertical trees and Mole trails!

Well, w/ younger DD getting married 9/05 and my car being 10 years old, I suspect I will not be cruising this year. first year missed since 1998 (except 2000).
Come on down to sparkling Lakeland Florida, where it's currently 78 degrees, the sun is shining brightly, with white fluffy clouds. We have gentle breezes blowing in off the Gulf of Mexico, and the palm trees are gently swaying in that breeze. The only thing that's missing is the waiter serving up another pina colada....
Happy sailing
Ken
