Like Steve, we are waterlogged, but ok.
We have a small leak in the roof, but with all the grief that has happened today with homes here in Ca. a little leak is nothing to complain about.
We are high enough that we shouldn't get any flooding, but the news today has been very depressing with all the homes lost.
So from "Sunny California"-we're ok.

Yep, way to much rain and more to come tonight. Think I'll just pontoons on the house.
Sorry for the leak, so far we are OK with no leaks, but the ground is so saturated the water is creeping into our enclosed patio. Thank goodness the drains are still flowing. But sometimes the rain is so heavy the drains can't handle the water.
We are at last count by the weather people 18 inches over our normal rain fall.
Really feel for those that have lost their homes from mudslides and other problems.

Boy!..I am with Kuki..After seeing the news I have thought about all of you out there on the west side..glad nothing is severe with any of you so far and hope that it stays that way..I dont know exactly where each of you are located but I do know you are all in the southern region. Hope Judy and Keith are okay. You guys stay safe. Prayers coming your way.
Keith and I watched with great distress what happened on the West Side. So far only roof leaks, no standing water that make problems. The plumber cleaned out the septic tank. The dishwasher works, the washer works, and so do the toilets! But I know I'll be awake tonight when those heavy rains start.
I don't know if any of you saw the tapes of the six-mo.-old baby rescued from the river, after being dunked twice, but it was really emotional. It happened very near by.
I really feel for those who lost family members and homes in all of this. Please accept our condolences.
So glad to hear that all of you are doing well. I look at the footage on tv and pray none of my friends at CruiseMates are in harms way. Prayers and good thoughts on the way.

Cher, I'm so relieved that you, Mark and Steve are all okay. I was worried. Keep counting the days until your cruise!

Hang on tight and keep those sand bags handy. You deal with mudslides-we have sinkholes and hurricanes. I think we should build one humongous ark!! .
Seriously, I hope you and yours can manage to stay out of harm's way. I agree with Sue, that the weather has really been whacky this year!! Lynne
That TV footage of the wall of mud sliding into town was reminiscent of the footage of that wall of water in the Tsunami. What is happening with our weather?
Glad to hear you west-coasters are Ok. My aunt who is here, is worried about her home in Apple Valley. Her daughter in Victorville has had ALOT of rain!
Cher & Steve.......ya wanna send some of our rain back up here??? We haven't had any in months.........if the ark gets built sail it up this way & stay.........don't forget to pick Cher & Mark up Steve.......<S>
