Today Betty had to go to work early so Grandpa went to my daughters to watch my granddaughter while my daughter and SIL did surgeries. The last surgery was a neuter on my granddaughter's 7 month old dog.
Ramie (Granddaughter) wanted to be in the O.R. but couldn't. She and Grandpa stayed upstairs while they did the surgery in the hospital downstairs. Well, I had to take a nature break and while I was in the bathroom the door opened and Ramie was standing there wearing a surgical cap, surgical gloves and dragging a gown. She looked at me and said: "Scrub me up grandpa, I got to get in there and help!" She's 34 months old and had been out of my sight for less than 5 minutes. I wish I had a camera but the memory of what she looked like and what she said will be with me for the rest of my life.
Kids, you gotta love em.
Mike(BTW: She got in there after the breathing tube was taken out of the pup)

I just can't resist looking at all the cute kids clothes. I find myself sometimes picking up things for my best friends grandchildren. They are all in financial straits, and it is fun to get little surprises to brighten their days. And I need my kid fix, soo....
