Default Diamond Holidays - Too Good To Be True?

Hey everyone..

I just got home from school and I had a really exciting message on my answering machine. A few months ago I was at the mall with my boyfriend and I entered one of those dumb contests to win a car. Apparently the runner-up prize was a cruise to the Bahamas courtesy of Diamond Holidays. I was really excited, and they gave me a phone number to call and a confirmation number, so it all seemed really realistic. But then I called my mom at work and told her about it and she said it was probably a scam, rar.

So, has anyone heard of Diamond Holidays/do you know if they're just trying to scam people into a "free" cruise? Please let me know if you have any information. Thanks!

I'm crossing my fingers!!!

I would ignore it. My DH and I filled out separate tickets for a drawing at a fishing expo recently. Imagine, we both one the main prize. I had put my cell phone number on the form, my DH our home phone number. When I called the number for curiousity sakes, it was a load of crap. Three weeks later they are still calling my DH but we let the answering machine get. it. I agree with your mom, it's either a scam or a timeshare.

Either way here's a link I found online--
http://www.diamondholidaystravel.com/index.html

Check out the website anyway with your mom, maybe it's one of the rare legitimate drawings out there. Keep us posted

And the ship in the picture IS NOT the ship you would sail to the Bahamas on..The Discovery is more like a sea bus......sorry to say..ignore this...

I also won a free cruise TWICE at an expo, and then a met someone who told me SHE won the same free prize. Its a disgrace to our industry.
