Wooo Hoooo, just booked the new Carnival Liberty for Jan. 07 for 8 nights taking advantage of their one day sale. Got a two category upgrade to a Verandah aft cabin balcony.
I was really starting to sweat, shake, and hallucinate since I've been without a cruise booked for almost 4 months. Don't know if I can wait that long to go so I might have to look for something a bit shorter this fall.

Congratulations and regards back!

Good for you, Thomas! And as Jason asked, will Mrs. Thomas be abandoning the eatery for 8 days too? Not that we're wishing you upon her, but some of us think that she deserves an occasional reprieve from the pots & pans. <G> By the way, which itinerary will you be taking?
Yes, I'm looking forward to the 8 day cruise since the longest we've been on in the past was 7. Just 1 more day than that but 3-4 days longer than most we've taken.
I'll be down to 1 job by then so it will be a little easier to do, yet we'll be away from the business for 2 weekends, which is hard to swallow. But the first of Jan. is the slowest weeks of the year for us so that's why we book then.
Of course Mrs. T is going. She's treating for my 50th birthday! Well, sort of.
Jack, we're going to St. Thomas, Tortola, San Juan, Antigua, and Nassau.
