Thanks to all of you for your encouragement and guarded advice on the Windjammer cruise we booked leaving out of Panama. This will be a new experience (for us) that should be a blast, eventhough it may be a bit "funky" compared to most large ship cruises.
We are liking the idea of minimal packing and no formal nights. All pretence will go out the window on this one. David has a real "Gilligan" side to him so I think we will be okay so long as the rodents and cockroaches are kept to a minimum.
In any case, we're excited to be going and will choose to have a great time, no matter how "funky" it may be. How bad can it be going to a different small island every day or so?
I guess I'd better start practicing the words to the theme from Gilligan's Island. How does that go??? Hmmmmmmm!
Location: Wisconsin....about 100 miles south of the Frozen Tundra and 70 miles east of Camp Randall

Chuck - I can't wait for your trip report on this cruise! I've had a couple of acquaintances go on Windjammer cruises and you really need nothing more than swimsuits, tee shirts and shorts and sandals! Cabins are VERY small, and the bathrooms are something to behold. I am tempted to try a Windjammer cruise but I think I wouldn't be a good fit for that type of cruise.
