Do you know if the Delta Queen Steamboat Company is making any profits? How full are their cruises? I've been interested in cruising on one of their boats but I'd first like to know if they are financially healthy.

they just had an article in last Sunday's paper regarding the state passing a law that woud allow slot machines on the steamboat ships. It indicated that after a slow start since the takeover, the load factor has improved and they expect the line to be profitable by next year

Some friends of mine just went on the American Queen and LOVED it..they are from New Orleans and they raved about the food, how nice the ship was, how relaxing the 3 days were

So the answer to your question is come and down and go steamboating

I am more interested in taking the trip from St. Louis to Nashville, as I have family in both. Thanks for the information.
