Hi everyone... back from our 4-day cruise on the Imagination. Those are just way too short!
It was a great time though! I think our two friends who never cruised before had a great time. Unfortunately, our friend Shawn ate something the last night that didn't agree with him and spent yesterday morning throwing up and miserable.
Key West was a lot of fun and I plan to write a separate post about what we did there.
In Cozumel we took the Passion Island excursion and had a blast. Went to Pancho's Backyard for dinner (yum!) and had some drinks at Fat Tuesday's.
Overall, the food and service on the Imagination was exceptionally better than on the Fascination (on which we took our last two cruises). I'm not sure why that is, although the Fascination is a generally less-expensive cruise and maybe the food and service is reflected in that price.
I'm definitely writing to Carnival about our experience, because we had some great service and were very pleased.
I probably won't write a whole review since I wrote one last time we were on the Imagination, but do expect some pictures soon!

You two have really become veteran cruisers, Michelle. Wasn't this your fourth...or was it your fifth. It sounds like Carnival did you right on this one. It's always nice to read positive comments about this often-maligned cruise line. We've sailed them seven times, although not since January 2002. Maybe it's high time we returned to the Fun Ships. We await your photos.
Welcome home and glad to hear all that champagne got "used"....

Glad you had such a great time. I forgot the story about the champagne though......somebody refresh my memory. I remember us "talking" about it though!
I love Pancho's Backyard. I did send a margarita back there one time when they had just the restaurant downtown and will NEVER do that again. It was the most potent wonderful drink in the world and I do not remember finishing it, but I did find sixteen bottles of vanilla the next day that I bought shortly after the re-margarita kicked in!!!!!!!! We went back there in Jan and ate and drank some more margaritas just for the memory!
