Default What did I do without my DVR?

Last night I waited 30 minutes after the start of Lost to start watching it... so I could fast-forward through all the commercials! Then I watched American Idol and was able to fast-forward through all the commercials and all the filler to see only the parts I was interested in and the end!

The DVR is definitely the best invention since sliced bread! I can't imagine having to choose between two shows anymore... now I just record one and watch the other!

Cheers,
Michelle P.

I agree! I would rather watch a show the 2nd night in order to bypass the commercials than watch it the night it is on! Of course you're right, you can start watching it about 20 mins into the show and eventually catch up....

If money were tight, I would happily take a SECOND job in order to keep my TIVO!

Michelle, I saw some of Lost last night. I have only watched the first episode or so and for some weird reason I thought it was a repeat-with them flashing back to how they got on the plane, etc. Why was that boy taken from his father on the raft????-I assume they were trying to look for civilization. That is one mixed up show when you have not seen it for a long time-I was LOST! Sorry-could not help it. I should have kept watching it when it first starting airing-but it interfered with some other program I like, I think.

Brenda, they're starting the season over this week starting Wednesday, so you can catch up!
