Locking the door is no added protection against this beast. I doubt anyone ever taught it how to turn a door handle!

I've seen one bite and rip the fender off a police car who was stopping traffic to avoid running over it.

Wow! The scariest animal I've had on my doorstep is a skunk. Tho' the pastor's wife called me last night to say that they had a black bear pay them a visit.
Better than a gator.

I was out walking my dog yesterday morning and heard a rustling in the grass, the dog started barking and I looked just in time to see a "tail" slide under a fence....gotta love living in Florida!

I rfemember one that bit the fender off a small car and actually shook it when a lady hit it last year or so. One the news last night it showed on that was a mere 6 footer that they had to remove from someone swimming pool. You don't bother OR FEED them and they won't bother you.

It is one way to solve the problem of stray dogs and cats in the neighborhood thats for sure. I guess you don't let the little kids play in the yard all by themselves.
