Just booked (Friday) the Jewel of the Seas going out of Boston Nov. 1st, going to Bermuda, Aruba, Curacao, San Juan, and St. Thomas-lovin it!
We are going in 3 days early to celebrate my big 60 on Oct. 30th, Trip all the pointers on what we should go see in Boston will be appreciate.d, we have never been there before, and want to see as much as we can in the 2 1/2 days we will be there.
Really looking forward to this one, haven't been to Bermuda, Arub or Curacao, so this will be fun (not that all the others haven't been).

where are you staying in Boston ? You must do the Duck Tour, dine in Chinatown, try to Walk the freedo trail..Know where you are at alol times.Boston is not a town to get lost in.
We will be staying at the Hyatt Regency on One Ave. De Lafayette,
and yes, Mike this is a pretty nice birthday present, I think Mark is a little nervous about being in St. Thomas again so soon, the last trip was a real winner for me too, I got the new diamond for my ring, and the mention of St. Thomas gives him the shivers-!

Hi Cher,
ONE thing NOT to be missed is, Filenes Basement, a one of a kind shopping experience...a shopping mecca to be sure...Celebs of all kinds put this at the top of the to do list..The duck tour is lots of fun. Quincy Market, [Fanueil Hall] is touristy ,but a nice stop...Newbury St. is a nice days stroll, shops, galleries, and eateries, to die for, that along with Boston Common makes for a great day.... see if the Swan Boats are still running, when you arrive. I am sure to think of more, before you get here

Have a drink in the bar at the top of the Prudential Building at night, the view and the lights are really beautiful. I agree, Filene's basement is the best! I haven't shopped there in a long time tho'.
What a nice vacation. Boston and a Cruise to such nice ports.
another thing to think about is taking in a Broadway show
The duck tours are a blast.
Since you are going in the end of October you might want to think about taking a side trip into to Salem - the sights around Halloween are very interesting to say the least.
The Freedom Trail is a must-do
Boston Science Museum is very interesting as is the Aquarium
Don't eat at Legal Seafood - it has become a tourist trap.
Quincy Marketplace is great place to just wander around
You are staying at a nice hotel in the center of the city. However, if you go out in the evening please take a cab to and from. Two blocks North of your hotel is the Combat Zone. Not a place to get lost in.
Everytime someone posts something interesting to do, I am copying and pasting the information, so keep them coming, I love hearing all the stuff there is to do.
