Default Get Ready, Get Set...Leave!

If someone said to you, "I am giving you a free 10 day cruise", say to Europe, "you will have to leave next week." Would you:
Want to go?
Be able to go?
Have a passport?
Be able to take off from work?
Have someone to watch your kids, and or animals?
Fly that far if you were afraid to fly, free or not?

My imagination is on fast forward this week

are you kidding? i'm outta here! no problem getting time off from work, no pets to worry about, son is almost 19 so no kids to worry about. Flying isn't a problem. The only snag would be the passport, i will pay extra to get express processing. Let's go.

Venice, I actually do think some of these, could be a deal breaker for some..What if your employer said no, sorry, you cannot have the time off..what if you had no one to take care of your kids? Could you get a passport in less then a week? I am surely not saying I wouldn't kill myself to go for the gold.....BUT for many the possibiity of not being able to take advantage, is there...

Want to go: Yes,

Able to go: ? Buddy with possible blown hip. Probably not. Wife would have to call in numerous favors at work.

Passport: Yes

Watch: Buddy (dog) under normal circumstances: Yes

Flying: Not even an issue.

Take care,
Mike(Slightly biased waiting to take Kramer for x-rays)

Yup, I could do it. Would have to have the pastor let me know what he wanted a week ahead for Sunday stuff (bulletin, power points), I can make my own hours, so as long as I had it done before I sailed, no problem, kids are old enough to fend for themselves, I have a passport, my mother loves my dog and begs to have him come visit, and I always try and have a couple hundred's stashed away for "mad money" only to be used for "fun emergencies". (Not even my husband knows about my stash).

I could go. Only snag for me is the risk Keith would take on a long flight (seizures). I'd be worried.

I'd be there, passport and baggage in hand! :-) Flying isn't an issue, I take my life in my hands every time I cross the four lane highway to get to Curves across the street! :-)

The only snag for me might be getting time off from work, but if I develop a sudden illness and have to take a personal leave of absence, I could do it!
