I just thought the video was such a nice tribute from Tyler to his teachers and the program. I work for a school district that has an alternative learning program and it is so vital to our district. It is such a wonderful thing the options available for kids now a day. I know you are so proud of Tyler, and I hope he knows what a nice thing he did.
Thanks Renee and Jen. They were very impressed - to tears - and I gave them each a copy. I will post photos when I get them back.
It's what some of these kids battled to get to this ceremony that is the incredible story; drugs, depression, learning disabilities, failing, being kicked out of regular school, never feeling they "fit in". Just finishing the year, is a major accomplishment, but to receive awards and the respect of their teachers and peers, is just priceless!
BTW, I have posted a photo of me with Ryan Malcolm in the Personal Gallery.
