Default Gram's Choice

Call this one Gram's choice. For months we have been eyeing the Baltic capitals itinerary Century is doing this summer (the one Kuki just finished posting so wonderfully about) for a 2006 cruise. All of a sudden I got blindsided the other day with a 12 day Med cruise on Brilliance September 2006. We went back and forth on it all week and all of a sudden I found myself saying yes to it in front of our TA this morning.
Twelve days out of Barcelona, with two days precruise . I guess I've traded Oslo Helsinki, Amsterdam and Coppenhagen for Barcelona,Venice etc.
At least for now I'll have to go back look at Kuki's pictures. Maybe Baltic in 2007.
BTW anybody else think of a certain Carnival ship when they look at the bottom two photos of the Hermatage?

Papa,
Congrats on the bookings!!! You'll love the Meditterranean. I probably would have been talked into the reverse.

Lisa: Stop;it. Betty said I had to stop going on about the "THE URNS" Now you brought it all back. <VBG>

Take care,
Mike (Great food on the Urn ship)

Oh no!! not the URNS!! Funny, I hadn't noticed that before! I just found out that the neighbour we have been coaching about booking a cruise, has booked on the Legend out of N.Y. July 29th!! So she will experience the URNS first hand!

Steph - the Carnival Legend is full of Urns! They use them as stair rails, lamp bases, table bases, door handles, drapery holders, etc. Farcus really over did it on the Legend with the Urns. Unless you have cruised on her, you cannot appreciate it!

Bill.. I have a friend boarding the Brilliance today for an eastern med cruise. I would have LOVED to be onboard with them.

Will let you know their thoughts when they return.

Thank's Kuki, I will look forward to those comments. Gram is excited. I think she is going to watch "Under the Tuscan Sun" every night for the next 15 months.
