I'm going on a CRUISE!!

Today we booked a cruise for TOMORROW!! Just a little river cruise, but it includes dinner, dancing, and a sunset cruise around the island of Montreal. We were envious of my son's Grad cruise last weekend, so decided to try it ourselves. We are taking James' daughter and her husband who are visiting from Australia. I will be sure to take pictures!

Wow! That sounds REALLY FUN! I think the same type of thing is what got me to wanting to cruise on the BIG ships! about 9-10 years ago--we went on a paddle wheel boat on Lake Tahoe in CA. We absolutely loved it! and ever since we've wanted to go --it took us this long to get here! Have a terriffic time!

Congrats Donna...that sounds like a lot of fun..we have something similar here in Hot Springs but we have never taken it..may have to rethink it though..Have Fun!!!
Kmom..you are on the short countdown onthe Conquest..hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Donna - just so you know, I hate you!! <vbg> Of course, you may hate me later on this summer when I take a ride on the Lake Express Ferry across Lake Michigan and back....I will probably walk on and walk off the same day. I just love being on the water!

Have a great time. We have a "cruise ship" here on Lake Winnipesaukee, It does daytime sight seeing excursions and also night time dinner dances in the summer. I try to go on once a season for a trip around the lake. I just close my eyes and imagine I am on a cruise ship in the Caribbean.

Cruise Cynic, you're right about the air conditioning, and it wil probably the be the hottest evening so far! I'm hoping the dining room will be air conditioned, or it might not be so pleasant a trip!

I've done the dinner cruise from Navy Pier in Chicago and they are fun!
