The ex Carnival Jubilee entered my home port today (Wellington/Port Nicholson) as a mobile hotel for the
British/Irish Lions Rugby supporters (something like the ships for the Superbowl).
This is now the P&O Australia Pacific Sun and the "Wings" have been cut off.
I took some photo's at 4 PM this afternoon and got a call from my dispatch center for a P1 ADSL fault at the same time.
This unfortunately distracted me from the fact that I took the pictures with my camera set on "macro" (flowers etc...) Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!.
It should have been set to "landscape" to get a better focus.
I will attempt to get better photo's for everyone who have enjoyed this ship in the past tomorrow (my Wednesday).
Everyone have a better than average day today/tomorrow.
Good Morning CruiseMates!!! Nice to be back after spending a long weekend at the cottage in Orange. We had a nice weekend visiting with family and friends. It is going to be hot here in NH's Lakes Region today. I have a few jobs to check out. I am just working part time now at the school since the temp job ended. Nice to have some time off in the summer. Have a great day CruiseMates.

What a scorcher yesterday - needless to say my pool was the "hot spot" and we had a ton of company all day. What a madhouse. I believe we will have a steady parade again today as well. My husband of course never came home until about 10 ish.
I learned yesterday at my physical therapy appointment that I have lost at least 60% of my muscle -which we now must begin to build back up, very slowly in order not to damage anything. This means hours at the gym at my P.T's office each week.
I have a ton of ironing to tackle for all the clothing changes for my sons Senior Picture session today - I better get moving before it gets any hotter, plus I need to get moving to work as soon as possible. At 5 this morning it was already 71 degrees.
I'm hoping for better results for my Red Sox tonight - last night was rough.
Good morning from Orlando.....sorry about the scorching temps our northern Cruisemates are putting up with. We're on our way to the wettest June on record if we get a couple more inches of rain by Thursday....it's looking like it could happen.

Not local headline news but still big news for some, especially for my DW:
``Julio Iglesias plays Moncton Sept. 14`` It goes on: ``According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Inglesias has sold more albums than any other solo artist ever - more than 250 million records. He has garnered about 2650 gold and platinum records around the world and has performed more than 4600 shows on five different continents in his 40-some year career.``
Julio Inglesias is arguably the most popular Latin singer in history.
It will be a busy September for our small town, The Rolling Stones and Julio in the same month.
It's official! We are in the middle of a heat wave. The TV weatherman explained that in order to be a heat wave, the temps have to be above 90 for three days in a row. Well, we made it! Around 7:00pm last night, we had a doozy of a thunderstorm. It was good for the garden, but it didn't cool things off much. Oh well!
Speaking of gardens, it seems that some flowers that I had never put in the garden before looks like that they are good rabbit food. Those long eared buggers chewed all the flowers off. Looks like it will be another trip to the nursery for more flowers. Ugh!
Jen, the amount of time your husband and you work, you definately need to go on a cruise!
Sorry Lombard, but go the British Lions and hope they have sucess down under. I am a Brit in the USA and never see any rugby here. I just wish I could get back to Murryfield to watch an international.
Good Morning!!! It is like a steam room around the NYC area with haze and fog. Good day to be at work......on second thought I take that blasphemy back!!!!
Everyone have a great day!!!!

Good Morning Mates, Rain again last night and another H&H day. Eddie you have to ask the garden center which flowers the bunnies won't eat. Aren't they adorable little fluff balls? <<<<<BG>>>> Wishing everyone cooler and/or dryer weather.
Good Morning all,
Angela, we are right there with you! Yard looks like it could use another mowing and it was just cut Sunday! More rain today but rigt now the sun is out. Here we get rain for about an hour or 2 than it clears again. Haven't hit 90 yet due to all the rain. And you all up north wonder why we live here in the summer? A/C is a wonderful thing. Ok, so we have sharks, hurricanes and evry now and then an assorted terrorist or 3. Makes life interesting. No snow! Now thats a novel concept that Tweety, you will appreciate greatly around the middle of Jan. Have a good day
Anne
Hi Kids,
While it is HHH here, i just squint, and remember snow drifts, and ugh, I will take this. Not much going on here,so I think I will bead today, and make some stock for the Fall. You all have a good one !

Morning All, from Montreal, where it is Hot Hot Hot like most of you. "We're having a heat wave, a tropical heat wave...." Not complaining, I love it, but it's hard to believe it's freezing the rest of the year.
Eddie, I think I planted those same flowers. Not even 1 day in the garden, and the squirrels have chomped the heads off all the flowers! I too, am a frustrated gardener!
VTJen, your pool sounds like my sister's. We all trooped over there yesterday, it was the only place to be. Probably end up there today as well...
Before the pool though, I have some hot and heavy work to finish up over at my mom's house. We need to get the cover off the pool, get the pump installed, and clean it out, so it's ready for the new owners next week. Not to mention finish removing boxes of STUFF and dispose of it at various drop-off points.
Looking forward to our little dinner cruise tonight, despite the heat! Maybe it will tide us over until our next REAL cruise in January!
Good Morning cruisemates! Heavy rainfall warnings in effect for Calgary and area. Think I'd rather have a heat wave! Lots of folks who were trying to recover from flooded basemants are probably back to bailing.
Have a funeral to attend this morning for the wife of a fellow who's been entertaining in my bar for more than 20 years. 84 years old, and still one of the funniest men you'd see anywhere. Married to his wife for 55 years, and now to be without her; won't be easy.
Good Morning Mates and hope your day is going good..I know it is hot everywhere, but I guess that is the way it is suppose to be in summer Eh....Got to get the ATV loaded up and ready for our little trek to Mom's house this weekend for the big 4th of July doings. I just wish I did not have to work on the 4th. Oh well.....
Kuki ..... I am really sorry to hear about your friend's passing. My heart is with the family and all of his friends. I know it must be tough. prayers your way.
I still have to work Wed and Thurs and then it's "Adios"
Good morning from Central Florida.....steamy but not as hot as the Northeast. Sorry guys, hope you cool off soon.
Still unpacking, searching frantically for my sewing box. It appears to be missing somewhere in the boxes we haven't unpacked. Half of those boxes are marked "Misc" so it's anyone's guess what we'll find when we open those.
Kuki, please convey my condolences to George. I know how difficult it will be for him to adjust to not having her around.
Good morning from Southern California where it's cool at the moment. But rising temps are the order here, too.
I have a manicure this morning. Keith has physical therapy this p.m. He's having difficulty with the exercises the therapist gave him to do at home.
VtJen, Keith has the same muscle loss problem. His loss stems from three weeks in the ICU, hospital, and rehab place. He never did get hisstrength back. We discovered that his left leg is weaker than the right one.
We're doing some packing today. Will spend a couple of nights away for our wedding anniversary. Will leave Wed. I'm not taking the lap top with this time, so I won't be posting for a few days.
