I know that some of you have had a continuing interest in the investigation in Aruba.
It was reported today several developments.
As of last Friday the reward had grown to $ 200,000. As of today it had grown to $ 1,000,000 for information leading " to the safe return of Natalie ".
A new witness has come forward stating that he saw the boy in jail plus the two brothers who have been released in a car around the hotel around 3:00 AM in the morning. This is after the time that the boys said that they had returned home.
Another witness has come forward stating he knows where Natalie is ( presumably her body ). The Texas search team which had just left the island are immediately returning to continue the search in the area where the witness has pointed out.
Finally the defense attorneys have objected to turning over the evidence so far to the FBI. The Aruban Prime Minister had requested that the evidence be turned over. An Aruban judge is to review this objection.
It would appear that the investigation is getting closer to the truth.
I live in this poor girl's hometown so I get information here locally faster than the national news picks up on it.
Thanks for the info. I cannot imagine the suffering this poor girl's family must be going through. And isn't it sad that money might make people come out with information, rather than just simple human decency and sympathy for her family...
..but then, I guess if that really existed, this wouldn't have happened in the first place....
And oh! What ever happened to the duct tape they thought they found with perhaps her hairs on it? I appreciate your keeping us updated since you are closer to where she lived....

I to appreciate the info on the family. There is a campaign going on to discourage travel to Aruba. I think this would be a disservice to all. It is time for someone to come forward and tell the truth. I understand the defense attorneys not wanting the FBI to get hold of the evidence. That's all he needs is to have the truth come out. After that, it's difficult to say "I didn't do it"
