Not much going on here, playing with new digitizing software for embroidery machine... and I think the machine is winning !! I made dh a shirt with a Ducati emblem & bike on it... he was quite surprised !! Now ds wants one with a Vespa on his... in the midst of all that, I am doing a Alphabetical Dog Breed Apron to donate for a SPCA fundraiser.
All this in the middle of busy life & helping ds install new pond.
Found out I really need another softwarre plug-in to make embroidered images EVEN better !! More $$ in the hole...
Hope u lot have a nice day.... try to squeeze in a little bit of fun !!
Good Morning you early birds,
Full day today. Major house cleaning as our DFD (dear foster daughter) and roomate are moving back in till Sept. 1st. Complete with puppy. Should be an interesting 2 weeks at the Marsh household. Have to find the baby gate (in garage somewhere) for the stairs. Then it's pack to fly up to Ct tomorrow for 90th B'Day. Hope weather cooperates. Been real hot (in the 90's) and muggy. Have a good one

Good Morning CruiseMates!! Another warm one for NH's Lakes Region today. Possible showers this morning. So much to do today. I have 2 appointments to look at apartments then it is off to work this afternoon. Have a great day CruiseMates.

Good morning from Orlando. Not working again until Tuesday but lots to do before we leave town tomorrow on our too short cruise......still better than no cruise!
I emailed all the info. to DH about the cruise of the century and hopefully he'll bite!
Good morning all!
Gail, I didn't know that you are Nancy's sister! I learn something new every day!
Steph, Take a breather, you are working too hard. The Alphabet Apron sounds so cute!
Anne, have a great time in CT and enjoy the party!
Trip, do you have a formal bathing suit? I'd love to see that. So glad you are booking!
Laura, good luck with the apartment hunt.
Angela, BON VOYAGE! Enjoy and Happy Anniversary!!
Another busy day here in the "Burgh". We could really use some rain! My daughter has been away all week and asked me to water her plants while she was gone. It has only rained once since she left, so I'd better get over there today and water.
I have a short day at work since I have a Dr. appt. at 3 p.m. I hope you all have a great day.

Good Morning all!! The lovely Marla, aka Bridezilla II called DW last night and they had a very long and cordial conversation. So things have cooled down and hopefully peace will reign in the land--at least for the next few hours.
We had a bit of a scare with MikaLyn yesterday, she woke up with pain in the same area as when she was diagnosed with lymphoma. DW gave her Tylenol and the pain subsided. Turns out it was cramps due to the monthly visit by her "friend". Doctors were ready to spring into action if the Tylenol did not work. God is good!
We also dodged a bullet with the oil heater, problem turned out to be a plugged line and low level in the tank. I promise never to procrastinate on scheduling annual maintenance again.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Local newspaper front page (not headline): ''CASEY's STILL SAFE''. Casey survives another week on Canadian idol. As much as I want to see her win, I honestly think, she'll survive next week and be gone the following. They are down to 6 and one is eliminated per week. For a 17 year old from a small rural commuinity in northern New Brunswick, I, for one, feels she has done magnificiently.
Gail: I think your favorite, Rex, will be there for the final two.
Other news, 10,000 more tickets for the Rolling Stones go on sale for the Sept. concert. That will be 80,000 total to see 4 geriatrics running around a stage. Totally amazing. I hope the organizers know what they are doing. 80,000 is more than the population of Moncton, the venue of the event.
The skies are threatening to download at any moment - very grey and foreboding. Not a good day to be on a construction sight playing with insulation (poor son) with the humidity in the air it will cling right to him. He'll be pleasant when he returns home tonight!
Well in about half an hour I'll be trekking up across the border into Rock Island, Quebec (about 20 minutes from here) to pick up the new computer for the van. It had to be rushed down from Montreal last night. Of couse it is about $200 dollars more than if we would have had time to order it here in the states, but at this point "beggers can't be choosers" or so the saying goes.
After that quick jaunt up north, I'll go to church and hopefully finish up most of my projects there. I was supposed to visit with my friend by the pool this afternoon. It's not nice weather tho'. Perhpas it'll clear up.
Hi Jen, see me waving at you? We should plan a meeting next time you have to come to Quebec! Hope it works out OK with that van computer!
Good morning from dull and overcast Montreal. We finally had that big thunderstorm and heavy rain last evening. Of course it waited until I got off the train at home to start pouring, and despite the umbrella, I got soaked! Slightly cooler temps today.
It is 7:40 a.m. and my son has already left for school! He hasn't been up this early since the shore excursion on our cruise in April! Today is Registration and Orientation day at his new college. Taking the train, finding his way around a new place, lots of new beginnings. Why can't I stop worrying? * (sigh)*
Finally got started on his Birthday Book. It will be a mad rush to finish it before his birthday on Monday! He will be 17.
Thursday already, and so much to do before the weekend, better get moving!
Good morning all. A busy day around here also. House is a mess, so will spend some time cleaning. My kids have their stuff everywhere trying to sort what goes back to college and what stays here. Luckily I only have two daycare kids today and they aren't coming until 10:00ish.
I am still thinking about booking the New Year's Eve 2006 cruise. I usually go away with my parents in mid January so I have to think this through. If my mom wasn't afraid of water, I would book them also. I hope to decide by the weekend.
Today is my daughter Lynn's 19th birthday. I can't believe it. It seems like yestreday she was turning 5. Time really does fly. Good thing I stay the same age. <VBG>
Someone mentioned the Rolling Stones. My son, after getting the job at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, figured out that he will be working during the Rolling Stones concert. Nice life!!!
Donna---All the best to Tyler on his upcoming school adventure. Try not to worry. I'm sure he'll be fine. Good luck with the birthday book.
It's 8:03 here in Avon Park, FL, and the sun is shining brightly. The rain percentage is down in the Tampa area but here in the central counties we will get it from the sea breezes colliding from both coasts.
Today is doughnut run, but I'm not buying as many. The Residents aren't eating them like they did a few years ago. They've been enlightened about fat and cholesteral! So, we feed them Otis Spunkmeyer cookies inbetween. Go figure!
I'm due for haircut at noon and will then "nurse" my hair until it's grows back long enough for the perm before the cruise in October. It's getting out of control!!!
Have a wonderful day. Doug, glad to hear that things calmed down for you and your wife. I have two good friends named Marla, so not all them are saddled with that terrible tantrum trouble.<G>
Bye for now. Lynne (We are starting to watch TS Irene down here a little more closely. I hope than none of you are too close to the NC coastline!!--and hoping that she doesn't take a sharp turn west!)
Good Morning - not sure of the weather conditions here until my eyes actually come open. We had a very long day yesterday at the V.A. Hospital with John. His quarterly visit for bloodwork, xrays, etc......Left at 5:30 a.m. and didn't get home till after 4 p.m. Hate those visits, most of it is hurry up and wait.
Mornin' all from Central Florida. Bought the new weed trimmer yesterday and 'da Coot' is out there just trimming up a storm. Would have been so much easier if we had done this from the beginning. Nevertheless it's a happy ending.
Good morning everyone. Howdy Doody? I say that every time I pick up the presents that Kramer leaves in the yard.
It is a gray day here in the north country. The carpet cleaners will be here in a couple hours and I just finished moving some furniture. Those little silicone moving discs are now my vote for the greatest invention of the 20th century.
I'm wondering how many pounds of Kramer hair they will pull out of the carpet. If it's too much then Betty will make me vacuum five days a week. <VBG>
I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Good Morning mates, Another H&H day in SE Florida. Ellis is getting his stiches out today, and then there will be no holding him back. He can't stand having to sit around all day. Grocery shopping for me and then will try to get some things ready for packingfor our Mariner OTS cruise. So glad that it worked out this way. We would like to go on the New years cruise with you all, but have to wait a while, with 3 cruises booked right now we have to see what happens in the following months. It really sounds like ther will be so much fun. When will they have the deck plans available? I'll have to go reread Kuki's article. Wishing you all a good and safe day.
Good Morning CruiseMates! Had a steady rain all day yesterday and the temps cooled to the 50s F Some improvement forecast for today.
Have to take the car in to a dealer to get them to order me a new soft top, after vandals sliced open my roof.
Booked my flight to Pheonix, and they charge an arm and leg booking only a week out. I could have flown to Europe cheaper. Ah well, got a deal on a hotel, so 6 days in AZ and seeing family and the new baby should make it worth while.
Good Morning from Central Texas. It is over cast again today. We ended up with 8 1/2 inches of rain. We are still trying to short out this college thing. What a change from H.S. stuff. I also have looked into the New Years cruise. It looks like it is going to be so much fun, but is so hard to plan that far in advance. Hubby should be back in town next Saturday, so we are going to talk about it then.
House is a mess, so I guess I had better get cracking.
