Husband just came home with a new carry-on with wheeles. I've been bugging him for a new carry-on that I didn't have to carry and would still be the size considered for carry-on. This is a nice navy Pathfiner bag and I've never heard of it, its very close to our travel pro luggage...just wondering if anyone has used them and what they think?
Yes - great luggage. I have about 5 pieces. 2 pieces are older and heavier but very strong. The last 3 pieces are about a year old and are also very strong but lighter weight. The zippers are very good quality, probably the best I have seen on any luggage. So far I have taken the oldest two pieces to Europe a few times, Asia once and about 8 cruises and they are still in great condition. I secretly wish something would happen to the larger 2 pieces so that I can replace them with the lighter weight luggage but these bags are here to last for a long time.
Thanks for your recommendation on the luggage. A few years ago I bought the travel pro and the zippers seem about the same as this Pathfinder, so I was thinking it is good, glad to hear you enjoy them and they travel well... I will be testing it out in just 10 days!! CAn't wait....thanks again.
I looked at TravelPro also when I purchased my luggage. The price on TravelPro was significantly more at the time. I did some research on Consumer Reports a few years ago and PathFinder ranked well so I decided to purchase that instead. I was impressed with TravelPro but just didn't want to spend that much.
A couple of years ago, Keith bought a Travel Pro rolling carry-on. A great piece of luggage that was on Special at Macy's. I should have gotten one myself, but a couple of years back, I made the mistake of buying a Tumy carry-on without wheels. Oh well, none of us are perfect.
