Donna, too funny!!! I had an epiphany today. We took the kids to a small amusement park about an hour and a half away. On the way home I saw gas for $2.98 a gallon and got so excited I made d/h stop and fill up. Everywhere else around here its running about $3.40 gallon....
You know things have changed when you think paying $2.98 a gallon for gas is a bargain. Oh brother! What a difference a week makes eh?

Hi Donna! Nice to see you back.
I think, with all the calculations, gas works out to about $5.00 US a gallon.
I have two thirsty vehicles, and I didn't have the cash on me this weekend to fill them up completely. I'm waiting for Tuesday, and hopefully a bit of a break on the price....

That is hilarious. Here in Columbus, Ohio I paid $3.19 a gallon for gas. I have a bad feeling it's only going to get worse!

Yipes Cruise Critic, our gas prices of $1.34.9 litre sounded bad enough, but then you converted it to U.S $$ and now I am REALLY depressed!

That's a funny picture, Donna, but I really shouldn't laugh. I don't look forwward to the next gas bill.

CA Cruiser, where did you find gas unde $3? It's all over $3 in my neck of the woods.

i got such a laugh from your ''' piggy-bank'''.

our gas here in the midwest is almost $3.50 a gallon. i am staying home this holiday week-end so i will have enough gas to get to work this coming week and not have to take out a '' loan '' to fill up again before the week is over.

but im afraid before all of this is over all of our savings will be drained.

I saw a report on the financial news that natural gas which traded for around $ 2.00 per cubic yard ( or whatever unit of measurement they use ) last winter is now trading at $ 12.00 plus. Heating rooms will also take a huge hit this winter.
