Donna, too funny!!! I had an epiphany today. We took the kids to a small amusement park about an hour and a half away. On the way home I saw gas for $2.98 a gallon and got so excited I made d/h stop and fill up. Everywhere else around here its running about $3.40 gallon....
You know things have changed when you think paying $2.98 a gallon for gas is a bargain. Oh brother! What a difference a week makes eh?
Hi Donna! Nice to see you back.
I think, with all the calculations, gas works out to about $5.00 US a gallon.
I have two thirsty vehicles, and I didn't have the cash on me this weekend to fill them up completely. I'm waiting for Tuesday, and hopefully a bit of a break on the price....
Just 1 month to go until the "Cruise Cynic Mystery Cruise" ... January 2008
our gas here in the midwest is almost $3.50 a gallon. i am staying home this holiday week-end so i will have enough gas to get to work this coming week and not have to take out a '' loan '' to fill up again before the week is over.
but im afraid before all of this is over all of our savings will be drained.
I posted an a reply earlier but now I don't see it?? Anyway, we're in Orange Co. and DH bought it this morning for $2.89...it was over $3 in So Orange Co yesterday....who knows what tomorrow will bring.

UUUGGGHHHH!!! That is toooo real!! lol!!! Gas is 2.99-3.19 a gal here.. I am not buying any!... Friends are calling and asking me to go places with them. NO WAY> I am hoarding what little gas I have for emergencies.
I saw a report on the financial news that natural gas which traded for around $ 2.00 per cubic yard ( or whatever unit of measurement they use ) last winter is now trading at $ 12.00 plus. Heating rooms will also take a huge hit this winter.
