Default Glory update

I just got off the phone with Carnival, and they report no change for the Glory sailing as of this time. As far as CCL is concerned, she's still cruising from Port Canaveral. However, the lady advised me to call again tomorrow (Friday) for a further update.

She also assured me that if a change is made, passengers arriving at Port Canaveral on Saturday will be bused to Port Everglades (or wherever the ship is rescheduled to sail from) in plenty of time for the cruise. "No CruiseMate Will Be Left Behind!!"<G> Good luck!

I have aslso been in touch with some folks I know at CCL and I am told that all is scheduled to go as normal right now and if anything changes they will call me on the phone and not just e-mail. From what I have seen and what they are saying here is that this storm is almost stationary but moving slowly WNW and then turning to the north and east. They are hoping it will continue out into the Atlantic but it might come back and hit us here in St Augustine as a minimal hurricane but that will not be until the middle of nest week. It right now is supposed to be pretty decent on Sat and Sunday. Also note that there is very little to the south and west of this storm right now including the seas not being that lartge! All good news so far but it could be better and untilk it starts moving more we will just have to watch it. I do not see any reason why any flights would be diverted either so those flying should be okay. Keep your fingers crossed and I will try and keep everyone updated should anything change.
Jim
