I'm Back and The Place has been remodeled. It looks nice.
Now all I need to do is find where the bathroom is.
We has a great time. Norwegian Freestyle is a different concept and one that I overall liked. I'll write more later. We just got in because we extended our stay in Seattle by one day. Now I have to unpack, get a granddaughter fix and get up to speed on the new boards. That should keep me occupied for the next few hours or days.
Welcome Back Mike,,,
When you find the bathroom let me know,,,,don't know how much longer I can wait,,,<bg>
Sounds like you might like the "freestyle" on NCL. I really liked it. Can't wait to hear all about it.
I am now doing some wash so I have taken a bit of a break to set up my profile and do a little wandering around the boards.
Judy: Glad to see you are posting.
I did like Freestyle. It's really hard to say if I "loved" it or not. I will say that overall the cruise exceeded my expectations. I never had a meal that was less than Good. I did have one Foi Grois that was bad but it was rectified but there's a story behind that.
The service and staff were Excellent!!! I had read some negative reports from people that had sailed on the ship on previous weeks and I can't find it. The only bad waitress was in the Versailles on the last night. Everyone was in Victoria and the place was empty. She acted bored.
The ship was immaculate, room steward was perfect.
I'm still trying to figure out my impressions of the specialty restaurants. The added charge restaurants (I tried them all) were all good to excellent but I also had some equal quality meals in the main dining rooms. hmmm?
Then again the least "Good" meals were in the main dining room. But they were still good.
I will brain dump more in a little later.
