Default Google Earth

Has anyone heard about Google Earth? I found out about it a couple of weeks ago. With this program you can Zoom in to about 1000 feet of pretty clear resolution above almost any building you know the address of . It's pretty cool. Check it out.

I heard about it just the other day Steve, but when I tried your link, it didn't work for me. I'd sure like to see what it does!

I used something very similar.

What's really cool is if you go to Miami (or another port) and zoom down to the port area (pick a port where you know where the ships dock) and zoom right down you can see ships at the pier.

It's neat!

After you download the program from Google earth, go to

25.46'31.31 N by 80.09'56.75 W to see two of CCL ships at the dock

Does anyone know which ships they may be just from the overhead view?

The only way I could tell is if you tilt the view a bit you can see the whale tale or the "X".

I can make out my truck because it's an anniversary edition red "burgundy) colour, but not very clearly. It's way cool!

The version I looked at had Satellite pictures that are 2 years old.

Still, it sure is cool!

Dileep, maybe new data is added at different times, I just bought my truck last year, and you can make out a large red truck in my driveway. If you get a chance, check out the grand canyon and large natural landmarks.....

Mark, no I don't have google earth plus, just the free version.

I know the photos are a few years old, but neat anyway.

Banker,
To add a photo to a post, you first need to get the photo on the web. Then you click on the Img button (you will see it above the reply window) You then add the URL address of the photo and you have it.
