Karen ,Andy and Ryan(the little guy 3 yrs old) We are in our late thirties. We live in New York state near the Hudson river between Albany and New York city. I am going on my 10 cruise in April 06. Ryan has been on one and Andy three. I just discovered cruisemates a few months ago.
No cruisemates cruises planned at this time but hope to do one at some point.

Dixie from Bandera, Tx (just northwest of San Antonio). Currently sharing the house with my two golden retreivers Bailey and Hannah.
Started cruising about 2 years ago and am very much addicted, too bad the work schedule won't allow more than one a year.
Next cruise is was on the Elation, which transferred to the Conquest in NO, which is now the Conquest out of Galveston for January 8. Stay away Rita!!!

Phyll and Jake here. Snowbirds from Hartland WI. We'll soon be flying south to our home in Jupiter Florida. Nice and close to cruiseports. Now if Jake could just get some time off so we could book a cruise.

I think I'm more addicted to this cruise site than I am to cruising. It's become a daily part of my life. Great bunch of people who have helped me through some rough spots and celebrated with me over all the good stuff.

Hey Guys!

Tina here-aka TBug!

Just got off our first cruise and we are hooked! We nicnamed the cruise the lobster and lighthouse cruise! Trying to figure out where we want to go next. So many to choose from. We are from MI, born and raised. In our mid-forties. Two kids, 14- and 17. We are bringing them on the next one.

Hope to get to know you all better as time goes.

Georgia here (Magnolia Blossom)
live in Central Louisiana. Married to Dwain the Magificent.
Two real pet cats but feed many of their friends - groan.
Been cruising since 1997, just finished #23 on Adventure of the Sea last week.

Booked on the Sun in October from Galveston and had a group on the Sun for April but not sure where that stands now that the Sun will move to Miami in mid-January.
Also booked on the Golden Princess (British Isles) in July

Al Rettig here, from Arlington, VA, just across the bridge from Washington, DC. Married 36 years to Terry, seen here in a moment of euphoria, having just scored two boxes of Belgian chocolate from Brugge's best chocolatier during a port stop a couple weeks ago.

I'm retired from film and TV production, Terry's retired from the US government where she traveled the world promoting US exports, mostly in telecommunications. Two grown sons, both living in New York, one an airline pilot and the other in the internet advertising business.

First cruised in 1976 aboard Sitmar's Fairwind.

Papa (Bill) and Gram (Rita) are both origonally from NY City and now live in the northern suburbs of same. We have three gorgeous daughters, three lucky sons in law and five grandchildren. (picture available in personal photo gallery under caption "happiness is").
We started cruising 10 years ago (this week as Gram reminded me this morning). We have done 14 to date and have our next one booked for Sept 2006 (Brilliance of the Seas rt Barcelona).
We've found we need to temper our cruise vacations with the occasional land trip so we leave for 12 days Maui and Kuai in a little more than two weeks.

Hi all!
Sorry, no pictures available. I'm not that advanced on the computer!
I'm Dianne, 37, and my husband is Todd, 48. We have been married for almost 14 years. My husband has 2 kids - Michael, 20 and Kailyn, 16. He's in his own apartment and she lives with us. We also have 2 sons - Kyle, 13 and Nicholas, 9. We live in Sturtevant, Wisconsin - which is a little village in Racine County.
We have never taken a BIG family vacation so we decided to really splurge this year and take a cruise. We are all extremely excited and can't wait!
I found this site 2-3 months ago and just love it! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I hope to become a part of your family and maybe even go on a CM cruise one day!

Jennifer, here, from Mesa, AZ. My husband, Jose, is from Costa Rica, and we met on my very first cruise!

I've been coming here to Cruise Mates since about August 2000, I think, although I see that my signature says that I registered in December 2001.

I have been to several Cruise Mates' land get-togethers, either before or after cruises, and Jose and I had the great good fortune of being on the original Let's Get Lei'd cruise to Hawaii. At these gatherings and on the CM cruise, I have met many wonderful people, and I really look forward to the Cruise of the Century in Dec. 2006 to meet more Cruise Mates!

Hi,

Peggy and Paul Beighley from San Antonio, Texas. We have been married for 45 years which seems like a long, long, long time. (don't let her see this)
We have two children with our daughter in Maryland and our son in Washington DC. Only one grandchild.

I have been posting here for about four years . I do write an occasional verse.

Peggy and I have been on 20 cruises since 1993 amd currently have two Cruisemates trips scheduled, the first on Carnival Liberty on October 24th and the second on RCI Radiance next April 23rd.

Jim and Sylvia here. I am also known as Robocop. (guess why ) Have been with Cruisemates since the beginning and I am the Community Staff Supervisor in charge of the message boards and the chat room and generally the one that gets yelled at. Live in the Nations Oldest City in Florida and love cruising and just finished out 25th. Hope to sail on all lines one day and meet all the great people here that come and make this the great website it is. Might never be possible but I am working on it!

We have been cruising since 1980, #22 coming up in December. We'll be celebrating 30 years of wedded bliss next month! And "they" said it wouldn't last!

Looking forward to catching up with many CM friends on the Century and to meet all of those that I haven't had the pleasure of cruising with yet!

Well, Larry (aka Midazolam) and I (Anni) are still newbies - we've got our first cruise booked for January 8th on the Carnival Valor ---- and BOY do we owe you guys a huge thank you! This is the greatest site, with wonderful, helpful and FUN people. It's taught us a bunch, and we just love it!

We're both in our 50s and currently live near Hannibal, Missouri, although I'm originally from the Chicago area, and Larry was raised in Brooklyn NY. We're closing in on our 30th anniversary, and our married son - with a still-new grandson! - lives in Cleveland.

Got only one dog - a Bichon Frise named Jordan, but 6 parrots! And you thought YOU were crazy! LOLOL

SO glad to be here!
