WOW!!!

It's been one year, since we cabbed to the airport, for a cruise. If I remember correctly, the price was somehere in low 40 dollar range...
Sooo, Bruce made some calls this morning..and we got prices from 108.00 to..200.00 rt. plus tips...This is about a 15 mile trip from my house to Logan Airport, Boston..boy that high gas price hits you in the face ! A stay at the airport Holiday Inn, with free 2 week parking is 110.00, which was the cost of parking at a lot near the airport..I think I will check Priceline and see what comes up....

It really s**ks. I have found that it is nice to spend the night at a hotel before a cruise if you can leave your car there for the duration.

There was an Amerisuites near the Minneapolis/St.Paul airport that offered that for $10/week, plus it was underground but it no longer does. My sister recently hit the Sheraton on Priceline that let her keep her car there, for seven days, while she was in Los Angeles.

For our next cruise the kids will definitely be taking us to the airport. I'm not paying for 17 days of parking. At least we have an 11:30 AM flight.
