Default What's your next cruiseline?

I've been wanting to try a cruiseline besides Carnival, so today booked on Celebrity (cruise of the century!!). Princess is on my list for 2007, then hopefully Windstar at some point.

Is there a cruiseline you'd like to try, but haven't yet?

Default What is Your Next Cruise Line?

It will be Celebrity. That was one of the reasons we signed on for The Cruise of the Century, that and meeting all the other CM's who have signed up for it, as well.

The Sail of the Century is our next cruise line.
As for a dream cruise line, it would be the QE2 or Q Mary. Very ritzy $$$
My favorite of all and the one we sail the most is HAL

My favorite line is Royal Caribbean, and I haven't cruised it since Hector was a pup.... I am hosting the Costa Magica cruise in Feb, a line I have wanted to cruise, since 2 friends, with lots of cruises between them absolutely raved and raved about it!

I will be cruising Holland America in March on the CM Hong Kong cruise. Holland America, especially the S class (Statendam) ships are at the top of my list of must sail ships and this cruise gives me the chance to sail the Statendam plus see the Orient. Not too bad.

I want a smaller ship and a more laid back atmosphere for a cruise. I'm getting "big shipped" out and need to get back to something under 70,000 tons. I know that it isn't the best term but I think it describes my feeling. I actually would love to join Anne on Windstar but it's too close to the Hong Kong cruise to make it possible.

Take care,
Mike

We really enjoy Princess and have been on this line 4 of our 5 cruises. The other one was HAL(Zuiderdam). However, we may have to try a different line next year to go on the New England/Canada cruise. The only Princess options are the Sea Princess and the Star Princess, and we will be on the Star this month. We thought we might have lucked out on the new Crown Princess.
The smallest ship I've been on is the Sun Princess at 77,000 tons. Since it was my first cruise, I thought that was large, until we started on the Grand Class ships. I don't think I want to be on one smaller than the Sun. I have been fortunate that I haven't been seasick, so far. I figure that the smaller the ship, the more chance of me feeling the motion.

Looks like our next cruiseline might be Hapag-Lloyd. We are contemplating sailing on the Hanseatic to the Falklands, South Georgia Island, and Antarctica. There are very few cruises that go to South Georgia Island, especially in comfort.

We've sailed most of the "common" lines to this point. Our LEAST favorite is HAL, and probably our most favorite is Celebrity, then Princess. They are all great, and beat the heck out of a day at the office.
See you aboard,
Ken

My husband was intent on booking the Caribbean Princess next, then the nest thing I know, we are booked on 2 more Carnival cruises! We've had good luck with Carnival so far, so, here's hoping...
Also looking forward to trying Celebrity on the Cruise of the Century.
Hubby's dream is to go on the QM2 one day (it was almost a reality last Nov. but we had to cancel...)
I don't care what cruiseline, as long as I can cruise!

We have cruised four times with RCCL and last April Cruised Celebrity. I thoroughly enjoyed Royal Caribbean and liked Celebrity even more. Therefore our next cruise will probably be Celebrity.

Ben

might give Carnival another chance someday.

We have come oh so close to crystal3 times now but get scared off by the hoity toity'ness of it. Or rather, what is seems to be. I guess we have to try it for ourselves once and make the call!

nice question by the way, makes you think about all your previous cruises and what you might be missing!

We've tried Princess(2), Carnival(3), Norwegian (2), Celebrity(6) and
Windjammer (1) , next try will be RCCL (Brilliance, 12 day Med, Sept '06).
I think I would do Holland America for a land and cruise vacation next time we do Alaska.

We've been very fortunate!! Have sailed RCI, Princess, Carnival, Celebrity, HAL, Seabourn and Radisson.

I consider myself a "cross cruiser", in that I think I can fit in on any cruise line. Just know and accept the strengths of the line we're going on, and go and ENJOY.

I'm often surprised so many people cruise with basically one cruise line, maybe venturing out once to try something else. There's just so many options and so much variety.

On my wish list still are NCL and Crystal.

Forgot all about NCL. A cruising friend of mine LOVES NCL for their freestyle dining and casual atmosphere.

I want to try them all!!!

On our last Carnival cruise in January Hubby said "we are not sailing on Carnival next time!" and I said "ok". So we are headed out on the NCL Sun in Dec. Haven't been on NCL in 6 years - since the freestyle and new management so we are looking forward to it. By the way in case any of you reading this takes it wrong - we LOVE Carnival! and we are sure we will miss it but we have been on Carnival exclusively since 2002 and really since 1997 - we have been on 11 cruises with them since then and we know the older ships by heart so hubby wanted to try a different line so we can "explore" the ship...
