We will be leaving early Sunday morning for almost two weeks. I'm not big on finding a computer while on vacation , but I'll try. We have 7 days in Maui and 5 days in Kauai to look forward to.
On our last trip to Hawaii we ran around doing "touristy" things for most of the days (and nights). We are planning for this one to be a little more restful. We do have three "excursions" booked and I'll report back on those as alternatives to Ship's excursions.
Tuesday morning we are going to do sunrise on Haleakala (but on a tour).
It includes hotel pickup, all the driving, continental breakfast and then real breakfast at a country club later in the morning.
Later in the week we are doing an all day land and sea tour of Lanai. Catamaran to Lanai, snorkelling, 4 wheel drive tour , lunch, beach and return catamaran.
On Kauai we will be doing an all day boat ride , Napali coast, Niihau(forbidden island) for snorkelling.
You are all always in my thoughts and prayers.
Have a wonderful time; of course you will it's Hawaii! Ron and I were married on Khuai seventeen years ago this Dec. 10. It was an octagon chapel at the Westin Khuai high on a hill overlooking lagoons and the Pacific ocean. Loved the island and also our week on Maui. But didn't like the twisty road to Hana in a convertible. They had a rock slide after we started up and the road was impassable for a few hours. Lots of great memories, now go make yours.
